So the results as they come in.

Daniel Bryan defeated Ted DiBiase in a quick opening match by submission with the LaBelle lock to retain the United States Championship, give it a 2/5, could have been a 3/5 if given more time.

Miz makes his way to the ring with Alex Riley and attack Daniel Bryan. Miz gets some heat from the crowd by dissing the Miami heat then teases cashing in his MITB briefcase tonight saying its not a matter of if but how.

Morrison defeats Sheamus, great match given plenty of well deserved air time - Sheamus made some great offence against Morrison's injured knee. Back and forth action, 4/5

Cena is shown backstage when R-Truth comes in. Truth claims to have the solution, where he comes down and 'accidentally' takes out Orton which allows Barrett to win. Cena says its a good idea but that he would be a joke, reminds Truth that he said on Monday and promised himself to call it down the middle. Truth says he'll believe it when he sees it.

Intercontinental Championship Match - Kaval vs. Dolph Ziggler (C) up next.

Intercontinental Championship Match - Dolph Ziggler retains the title, pretty solid match - looking like a good PPV so far. Kaval and Ziggler should manage to have a feud together now after this match. 3.5/5

Team Mysterio defeated Team Del Rio - Del Rio wasn't actually eliminated but got escorted to the back by officials, hoping it's no major injury. Big Show and Mysterio where the two sole survivors.

Natayla wins the Divas Championship after making Layla? tap. During her celebration LayCool attack but Beth Phoenix returns and hits the GlamSam on Layla. Her and Natayla then celebrate.

Edge vs. Kane goes to a draw. Edge thought he had the win but his shoulders where too on the mat making it a draw. Edge came out to start the match, then went back to 'get Paul Bearer' presumably but came out with an empty wheelchair. After the match Edge put Kane in the wheelchair and rammed him though the ringside barrier.

Cena is backstage and Barrett comes in and reminds him that this is the same arena where Nexus tore apart Raw and left Cena helpless.

Tag Team Championships up next.

He will be back on Raw tommorow and I bet there will be a stupid new stipulation that if Cena beats Barrett he keeps his job or something.

Kane keeping the belt surprised me, I wonder how much longer he will retain it.

I think Miz will cash in at the next PPV, I am certain he won't be in the main event at WM.

Or maybe Cena is finally getting a break, when was the last time he got time off?

this... even during the filming for his WWE films he was still wrestling on TV. last time he had time off i believe was when he was here in aus filming the marine.

He will come back in a month or two in a luchalibre attire, where we all know its him, and after another month or so he will unmask himself, much like Hogan did when returning to WWE as "Mr America"

or maybe he will cash it in at WM?

think about it, what better way to put over a heel champion then to have him cash in after the main event of Wrestle Mania?

This :thumbsu:

By cashing in over the Undertaker after he claims the title, giving the Taker his first loss at WM... After the deadman is given 2 AA's after defeating Cena for the title in a Cena heel turn... Oh how we could dream..

There could never... EVER.. be more heat that a heel champ could receive.. :D

I rate the Miz!!!

I dont know, thinking it about there is a few ways for Cena to return

1. He goes to SD

2. SD gives him a spot in the Royal Rumble, he wins and then chases the Raw belt

3. Vince returns and fires the GM and re instates Cena

But I reckon he will be gone untill atleast Rumble time

i read a week or so ago the plans where for him to feud with Barrett leading into the Rumble so thats not likely.

I think this time John Cena bit off more than he could chew. Everyone knew that the Nexus were way more powerful than John Cena.

I hope Cena uses this time to figure out what he wants to do with his life. He needs to admit he was wrong for trying to take on the Nexus and swallow his pride and go and ask for his job back from Vince McMahon. I think McMahon will give him a base contract and make him admit he was wrong to try to beat up Wade Barret.

I was really hoping for a heel turn for John Cena but kinda knew it wouldn't happen. We all know Cena will be back in due time, obviously he's making a movie or something. The likely scenarios are that he will return at Rumble, win a match and be reinstated or out of the square, Barrett begs the GM to reinstate him and he remains with Nexus cause he wants to. Eventually he would screw Barrett over but it would be cool for a few months.

I'm actually surprised he was "fired".

have rather enjoyed what they've been doing with him. it's very different to what we've been getting from the WWE and Cena for five odd years. refreshing. :thumbsu:

Exactly. Have got sick of seeing Cena constantly in the main event but these last few months have been a breath of fresh air.

Happy to see him fired too. Given the dramatics of his goodbye, you'd think he'll be gone for at least a month or two (here's hoping). Can't see him coming back as a heel, though.
