Because the uniform is their Home kit.Love your work mero. But why in all uniforms is Geelongs kit with white shorts in 2016 only?
Same with north in 2014?
See GIANTS moments. The GWS 100th game is missing a write-up on the back:

Because the uniform is their Home kit.
Since 2007 clubs have had a Dark Uniform and Light Uniform.
Only those two clubs have their Light Uniform as the one they wear at Home.
Everyone else wears their Dark.
For traditional reasons those two clubs the AFL allowed them to wear Dark shorts with their Light jumpers at Home.
In 2014 the AFL actually requested they wear their full Light uniform with their Light jumpers.
Therefore in Home game they were more incidences of them wearing White shorts at Home than Dark.
Therefore that is how I represented them.
It was the one year the AFL actually decided to enforce their own uniform policy.Yes but my point is why only those years? Geelong haven’t worn blue shorts in home games since 2015.
The 2012 uniform is out of order.Something appears a bit amiss with the Hawthorn all uniform pages from about 2012 onwards... in particular 2018 it shows them in a Puma uniform...
Bit of a sponsor nut here.
On Ports sponsors, you have the incorrect years for the Vodafone logo that you have listed from 2005 to 2007. It's only from 2005 to 2006. The 2007 one is like the 2008-2009 one, only the red panel is wider, closer to the 2002-2004 version: http://s.afl.com.au/staticfile/AFL Tenant/PortAdelaide/Images/In-article images/1_AFL Round 18 - Adelaide v Port Adelaide (JM) 562.JPG
Also, I saw Matthew Primus wear the 2002-2004 Vodafone logo in 2005 a couple of times: http://cache1.asset-cache.net/gc/53101266-matthew-primus-of-port-gets-away-from-josh-gettyimages.jpg?v=1&c=IWSAsset&k=2&d=OCUJ5gVf7YdJQI2Xhkc2QJ1yYzovcgrTqzAGw648Z8w0og76oNoQkQMnr392uE6BcIaifKaxocUfhPlHD5ViCw==.
You're also missing the AussieATM logo from 2010: http://resources0.news.com.au/images/2011/11/28/1226208/574956-port-power.jpg
and Soaring Securities sponsor from 2011: http://resources3.news.com.au/images/2011/10/14/1226167/056787-athan-lekkas.jpg
The MyATM logo in 2010 went through a few changes. In the preseason, it was primarily a white box with myATM on it: http://resources2.news.com.au/images/2010/03/23/1225844/260242-power.jpg
And the logo you have listed for 2010 only lasted through round 1 to round 10:
and then it changed to the one you have listed for 2011 in round 11:
One last tidbit is Ports first AFL sponsor being Futuro in the preseason of 1997: http://s.afl.com.au/staticfile/AFL Tenant/PortAdelaide/Images/In-article images/1181788_620.jpg
The magpies had reversed their guern-seys (black and white) so as to avoid con-fusion with the blue-and-white of the South Adelaides.
That's an interesting one! I reckon you're right; they must have turned their jumpers inside-out.Found this snippet when I was looking for some history on Port's jumper. Did they wear their jumper inside-out for this game?
The Advertiser 14 Jul 1902
If true it would have to be one of the first occasions a club wore a clash jumper. The white number panel introduced a few seasons later would have helped eliminate the issue (perhaps it influenced the decision to wear a white panel?), but I wonder what happened in the intervening years? That's an interesting one! I reckon your right; they must have turned their jumpers inside-out.
I like the idea, but I don't know where to put it.Mero would you be interested in adding a blog or new paper style articles to your site?
I know someone who has a old 1920 (ish) Bombers jumper that's been handed down from someone who played and it has a great story to it but I feel there is no place to put it bar FJ.com
Let me know if you are interested or want to have it on file ready to goI like the idea, but I don't know where to put it.
I had plans for a new version of the site, and it would have gone there. currently www.footyguernseys.com
But so far it hasn't gotten very far.
