I’d really love it if you did a section for each club that was “Anniversary Logos”. They seem to be coming out quite often now and having a resource for them would be handy. Is this something you’ve thought about?
Yeah, I see Gibbsy thought of that one too.
Really, once the Folder Headings are decided, the jumpers are drawn, so it's just the demarcation of what is what.

For instance:

Is this an Anniversary jumper, celebrating their first game, or is it a Retro jumper, in the 1991 design?
There's other that fall into multiple categories as well.

I would say this is an anniversary jumper. There seems to be a number of criteria it could meet such as:
  • Does it have an anniversary logo? (Yes)
  • Does it acknowledge anniversary date? (Yes)
  • Was it worn in an anniversary year? (Yes)
  • Was its purpose to be a retro jumper or an anniversary jumper? (anniversary)
I would also say its not a retro jumper because it too close in design to the actual home design. Only nerds like us would notice the difference in hoops and the old Camry logo.

Fremantle is probably a good example of where you can differentiate. I would say the 2019 anchor is an anniversary jumper because it was worn in an anniversary year and that was its purpose. The others since have specifically been worn for "retro round" so they're obviously retro jumpers.

That Crows logo is the perfect example of why I think an anniversary logo section is a good idea. You can't find that anywhere.

North Season by Season is done, which means everyone is done except University.

I think the next thing will be to re-organise the Folders.
Separating Away and Clash, including Home jumper with sponsors swapped as Away.
Putting the Retro and Heritage Round jumpers in the same folder.
Maybe a Charity folder. Plenty of clubs have Charity jumpers each year.

The 2003 North Melb heritage jumper http://www.footyjumpers.com/kangaroosheritage.htm doesn’t have the correct heritage AFL logo like the full uniform from the same game has http://www.footyjumpers.com/2003R19.htm.

Continuous improvement is possibly neverending now that sponsor logos are on the site. I love it, but I'll always find something to update!

The proportions are a bit off with the league / sponsor logos.

Perhaps most noticeable is the kerning and font on the Eagles logo, which I feel has always been a little off on some of the early jumpers on FJ.com. It should look more like this:

Finally, the VFL logo is a lot more pronounced than what you have – it's bigger, with a thicker white outline, and is curved all the way around, not with a flat bottom like how you have currently. I'm yet to determine if this is the same for all other clubs of the era, but if so, this is obviously quite a massive change (covers off ~15 years of guernseys across every club) so I understand if you don't get to it for a while.

Using what appears to be a felt eagle, the colour was definitely darker than that of the wings... the Eagles text still has the tighter kerning as mentioned above. VFL logo size appears right this time, but still needs to be the rounded finish (not the straight bottom). SGIO logo white space is much larger.

VFL logo and SGIO logo as per above. Eagles logo is still the tighter, screenprinted version.

SGIO change and tighter Eagles text. What can only be described as a 'puffy' new AFL logo, with heaps of space below the football.

SGIO change and tighter Eagles text. More well-known 90s AFL logo appears (darker blue, thinner outline than what you have).

West Coast 1991 away

Doesn't exist on the site.

Darker blue AFL logo and tighter Eagles text, plus obviously the Hungry Jack's logo. Not sure if the gap between the Eagle head and text was specific to the away (HJ's) version, would need further proof.

Probably reasonable proof that the distance between the eagle head and text in the previous pic was an anomaly. You can quite clearly see the outline of the shield AFL logo on this 1991 GF jumper, which indicates it was used for away games during the 1991 season. Usual updates to Eagles text and logo proportions apply here too.

The sponsors was slightly different spot for each player almost the same spot. Rob has done a great job in my view. with putting the sponsors where they are. Rob has it right, on one player the sponsor is slightly moved to our right. I say Rob has it right. JMO Rob awesome website you do a great job. take care mero.

How's this version look?

Edits.
Re-traced the VFL logo from a jumper
Re-Traced the Eagles logo from the image above
Edited Dynamo Bold text which is not exactly what was used
Re-sized & Re-positioned the Burswood logo

Mero, Bombers in 08 par the clash jumper, had the Puma logo without the text, like the new 2025 jumper.

Are these little vultures ripping you off? of course they are, pretending the graphics are their own. cannot stand this clan of little shithousers. they'd be the first to want credit, too (fwiw this is the son of Jim Buckley, Dylan Buckley's, company).

If the question is 'are they from footyjumpers.com?" Then yes, they are.
But the reason for the site is to correctly represent the history of footy jumpers.
That includes for purposes of public debate.
Are they making money out of it? Not specifically. So I don't see them as ripping me off.
However, yes, crediting the website is the socially accepted etiquette.
Do you have a link to it on their site so I can contact them?
