Hope these 2 win it. What an amazing recovery from nearly being down and out. They really dug deep and improved rapidly to get to this point.

Cyrus will probably win, but I'm yet to hear anything that tells me he is differnt to the other zillion male vocalists. Jess and Matt meanwhile are unique, in my view they should win. Louise is okay but is a bit of a one trick pony, yes it is a very good trick (high notes) but it becomes very repetitive.
just started watching :
interesting intro. liked the dancers and the final 3 reveal on stage. good start. one of the better lot of grand finalists. hope they can perform well on the night. 3 songs. yikes! audition, winner's song and judges choice. overkill or more chance to sell advertisements?
CYRUS (Audition song) - that package went on for ever. the show seems to be pimping Cyrus. he is singing well and the production is cool. His fans will eat this up. performs with energy. In pole position, though he should nail his audition song.
JESS/MATT (Winners single) - the potential winner's single performance should hold more weight for non aligned voters than any other performance tonight. Is it adequate or cringeworthy on first reaction? Jess with interesting headwear. The song is not overly grabbing me. it seems to be Jess dominated and she performs well. the chorus is simple and repetitive. not overly memorable but not a potential disaster it could be. advantage Cyrus
LOUISE (Judges choice) - can she rebound with Adele? Glad Blunt is going for it as she needs to knockout this out to win. Strangely he is taking Guy's advice to soften her performances. Perhaps he should have mixed it up way before a finale. Like the simple production. shut up crowd. Not sure she is succeeding in totally capturing the performance/emotion of the song. Not a knockout in my eyes but a solid attempt. think she is in 3rd place atm and my prediction of her as the winner is disappearing quickly. Dont know if Blunt has really help her vocal nuances much over the competition
MKR ad forgot a couple category. the complete w***ers couple/ perhaps that is covered by the judges and that show in general.
CYRUS (Winners single) - Isaak seems confident on the song. If this is on point I think he has the title in the bag. The song seems by the numbers but he is selling it reasonably well. Disposable song and not the knockout blow though his crowd interaction was clever. still in front. seems like a pro Cyrus crowd in the room too which helps that perception
JESS/MATT (Audition song) - need to nail it to have a chance of catching Cyrus. the smoke machine is out. I preferred the original version and this was solid but not standing ovation worthy. the judges seem resigned to Cyrus winning though Guy is reaching on Matt/Jess being original in this country, but i think he knows they are not winning. Cyrus almost a certainity at this stage. The asian threepeat of Dami, Marlisa and Cryus is odds on

JESS/MATT (Judges song) - Guy's intro are getting worse. less is more. They need a huge finish to what has been an average night impact wise for them. Matt seems a little off vocally. Guy set them a big task worthy of a finale but not sure they got there vocally in the end.
real subtle that Cyrus is closing the show. they want him to win and me thinks he will. pity the show could not have prevented Marlisa winning last year.

She does have the most powerful and distinctive voice in the competition. She is finishing strongly. she gave it everything but i think her lack of marketability in comparison to Cyrus will hurt her in the eyes of voters, but her last 2 performances were more like the majority of her performances on the show
CYRUS (Judges choice) - Channel 7's annointed winner gets to finish. can he deliver the final killer blow? these 2 also seem to have a close friendship. the crowd never shut up in quiet moments. flash the quiet sign . he is giving it everything and sings with passion. A solid performance and Danni has annointed him as well. Chris's tears puts it over the top and he is your winner

Lol at thinking Louise was 2nd...I'm still recovering after her butchering Adele like nothing before! Lucky to even be there. Will come 3rd, was the worst of the night BY FAR!
