Who will win this game?
Xavier were dissapointing last week but they have more to offer than that... we saw this against scotch.
should be a good one to watch?
so who will win? thoughts...

Massive game, both sides will be confident they can win, but Geelong are too hard to beat at home.

College at home will be very hard to defeat and will want to win infront of an expected large crowd after one of it's best seasons in many years!
GO COLLEGE!

college are playing great football but the xavs were sooooooo unlucky against scotch and we saw last weekend that scotch beat college fairly comprehensively with botht the kennedys firing the xavs will get overthe line in a great match with that will invovle FREE FOOTBALLL TALENT

College had the easy draw all year... they didnt have to play the top sides in their season. So to say they have dominated all year isnt true. It will be a close game..

yea fait enough it will be a close game..
but xav's didnt have the toughest run either, and when they come up against the skid marks of the comp (GGS) , they were given a run for there money and shouldnt have won that game. if that performance is repeated college will win

Xavs had alot of players missing though when the played GGS, including Kennedy who has had a massive influence on the team since he made his comeback... anyway it will be interesting. geelong will be strong at home but xavs i think will get up. good game.

ulbsismassive makes some good points the xavs wasted oportunities last 2 games and really should have definitely beaten scotch. geelong has just lost to scotch by about 40 odd points i think that scotch are probably the a good way to base yourselves on as they are undefeated. i think geelongs home advantage will be a big point but not enough to defeat the xavs, should be a ripper xavs by about 10-20points.

Rush can expect some lip service from the crowd on the weekend as Geelong will again pull the biggest crowds in the APS.
Geelong to win with the home ground advantage with big guns henderson, mcarthur and rockefeller to fire!

i watched xavier 1's train last night..
if they play they play the way they trained, they will win with ease! 50+ points. it was an unbelievable session. will be a good game.

The way a team trains and the way it plays are not necessarily one and the same thing. College has not won the APS footy premiership since 1964, and has to be very hungry for it. Xavier denied them the premiership in 1995, and stopped College's run to the premiership in 1992, so College should be very fired up to beat Xavier. It's a big bogey to overcome, and neither team's a certainty, but I hope Xavier's much-touted belief in social justice extends to a fellow scholarship-free APS school wanting just a little bit of the APS footy success that Xavier has had in buckets in recent years.

GO COLLEGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice try, Brian, but College Boy is not Cliffo. Evidently others beside "Cliffo" love and care enough about College to know details about its years of journeying through the APS football wilderness!

GO COLLEGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Couldnt be further from the truth. Geelong were far too good all day running away winners by over 10 goals. Im assuming that makes a tie for the premiership, scotch obviously overrate themselves. Cant perform in the big games!
