5 Votes. Conor Nash. What a performance! Who would have thought he'd go on to be one of our top players before his move to the midfield in late 2021? Not me. He's a big part of our future and our next Premiership tilt.
4 Votes. Mitchell Lewis. A career-best day. There's not much more I can say. I'd give him higher, but he was playing against one of the worst defences in history, and he could have easily had 8+ goals.
3 Votes. Jai Newcombe. Yet another good game. We will never know how he went from not even being able to get into the midfield of his beloved Poowong to being our midfield lord and saviour and quickly emerging as one of the best mids.
2 Votes. Tyler Brockman. This kid is a natural. That first goal of his was pulchritudinous, as was that goal assist of his to Lewis. Sign him up for 5 more years.
1 Vote. Josh Weddle. As I said in the Weddle thread, one of the best games by a halfback for us since Luke Hodge played there. His running capacity and work rate are exceptional, along with his natural athletic capabilities. He will be a star. I would give him more votes, but he's just unlucky to find himself playing well in one of our best victories since the 3-peat era.
Everyone played well today. Everyone just attacked, and it was brilliant to watch. Many players are unlucky to not be here. Sicily was back to his best, but given the Eagles circumstances, it wasn’t too surprising. Blanck had a very good game where you could see the attributes he has to be a good player. Worpel looked back to his 2019 best, and Mackenzie had his best game so far. Moore was also good.

It was very much a clear top 5 this week. All spread out reasonably enough with Lewis coming out on top. Understandable considering he has 6 goals and 24 disposals! Ridiculous game by our number 1 forward. Nash continues to have a breakout season, solidifying 3rd spot on the leaderboard. Sicily was immense and a brick wall on the weekend. Most other games he would get the top votes. Newcombe and Weddle were close to one another in 4th & 5th spot. Really good to see Weddle get amongst the votes in the short time he has been in the team. Only 8 players were voted on in such a massive win, really surprising tbh but I guess we just had a super dominant 5 players with a couple of extras.

Day still holds top spot but Jai cut back some of the lead this week. Nash only a few behind Jai. We have 5 now in the double digits with last year's winner Sicily joining the top 5.
