Did Hawthorn miss the finals this year on purpose?


Hawthorn managed to single-handedly force a change to the rushed behind rule after the farce that was no less then ELEVEN rushed behinds in the '08 Grand final.
Did they realise in advance that they'd have no chance of winning without being able to cheat, and hence threw the '09 season?

Lets just hope 'Buddy' has some strikes left by the time 'Hot Head Midget Man' Clarkson finds another loop hole in the system.
