rumours had it. If barry was stayin at powelly, there were a few more players coming over from the northen league? Any truth too it?

Barry has been reappointed as coach, powelly to start training next week. Have heard a few whispers about his cousin Collins(apprantly can play) coming over from northern and maybe one or two more.

how's the laker's traveling? Gaining, losing players? Has pre season started yet? Also does anyone know if barry is still coching powelltown?

After watching last years GF I would of thought Kinglake probably doesnt need any more players unless some are leaving. As you know they came very close and Olinda and Kinglake were clearly miles ahead of any other team. If they recruit too many they are almost throwing insult at the existing list that worked hard in their tough circumstances to get where they are now. I hope Kinglake continue with their fighting passion. Thier neighbours down the Melba Hwy (River pigs) will be the big improvers in 2010.

very good point about the lakers. But as you have pointed out the river pigs seem to be busy on the recruiting side of things....

I know he's good but he would have to be Superman to coach Upwey and play for Emerald at the same time.

ok another from left field.... Paul grailing from wandin to yarra junction.... The word is junction are going hard as nails for him! But on sayin that, there's also the rumour of him heading to port douglas? Can anyone help me out with this one?

I think Paul just wants out! To anywhere....
Somewhere between Port Douglas and Yarra Junction offers some scope, I guess.

Nup.

I just drift in here from time to time to read the goss mate, rarely put in a word, which is probably a good thing for the forum...:>)

hooroo.... (looking forward to the return of hostilities with your mob in 2010!!)
Given your last forays into public print, Swooper, it may be a wise decision!
(BTW 'Spooner' referred to Prof. William Archibald Spooner and the unintended? spoonerism in the text of that post.)

do you suggest that kinglake tell players that now want to play for the club, that ,thanks for the offer but we dont need any more players. What about guys that want to play for the club because their mates are already there.Kinglake has never been a club that throws money at random players to entice them over.

I missed the veiled spoonerism, and was wondering why you would have thought I penned the post. Anyways, the "writing" you refer to was not my last effort, and it did last 3 years, so somebody enjoyed it. (Thanks mum).

Didn't Grayls come from Junction? Could be some truth to it.

Not at all Joe that would be dead set negligent by the KFC. What I am saying is that Kinglake do not need to go flat out actively looking for several players. If players want to jump on board it is great news and a few new fresh faces during pre season is healthy.

i know grails fairly well. He is a very good player. Chf or chb. He just loves footy. He likes to get in ya ear a bit on the field, but off the field, he'll have a beer or 10 with ya. Overall if thats were he's off too, great pick up!

the seville football club is starting their pre season training on the 2nd of december to all those interested. It will be held at the lilydale lake from 6 o.clock onwards. There is also a christmas party on the 6th of dec. At the club rooms from 12 o.clock onwards. Byo food, drinks and a chair. Hope to see you there.

Having being an avid supporter and explayer of Kerang, I want to ask how accurate this mail is.
If so, How does he go as a player/clubperson?

I have only seen Paul play three times - but I would say very handy.
He was clearly Wandin's best player. I heard that he was B.O.G. in the interleague game also. Prior to Wandin he was playing Divvy One in the EFL. Certainly a recruit worth pursuing. Good luck

Not sure if anyone from Alex posts on here but one of their players Brayden Norris was picked up in the draft by North Melbourne on Thursday night. He played in the 2008 premiership win and I think played a couple of games last year when not on Bushrangers duties. Well done good effort

more local talent being noticed by the big league. Well done. You cant fill me in about alex for next year? Are they staying in div1 or back in div2

Great news for all at Alexandra FNC - considering the hard times the community and club have been through in recent times, this is great news for all associated with the club.

Also, any news regarding a coach for 2010?
