hi night stalker, i trust the league are doing everthing possible, and lets wait for the results. i was there i know what happened, i do know the the seville player didnt start this, i do know the kinglake player which i wont mention his name until the investigation is over did start it, and he is to blame. there always is two sides of a story, and i will tell you this much, that seville has told the two stories, and kinglake has only told them one story, and thats their story, and they were quick to go to the papers up whittlesea,, thats fine everyone will read the real story in time..just cant believe how someone could go to the papers and say what they have, and not even being there when the incident happened, he just went on hears say![/quote]


Why cant we bring back the biff on the footy field and at the end of the game just have a beer afterwards???

Interesting to read the situation Heywood Football Club finds themselves in after over financing on recrutment. Seriously why do clubs put themselves in these situations for one? Whats worse you have to seriously question the character of a person who would walk out on a club mid season when the club runs short on funds. Unfortunatly we have all seen this first hand but no doubt clubs will still go out on a limb and put there club at risk long term. :thumbsdown::thumbsdown:

Not to reopen the "Silvan" wound but didnt that happen when Moorcroft and Henneman were playing at the club? Sponsored by Comapss and then they go broke so Moorcroft and Henneman left too.
Sounds too bizzare for my liking

If this is indeed a direct quote from the Emerald President and not an example of journalistic licence, then I need to point out that it is a wildly inaccurate and uninformed statement.

We are obviously "the club up the road", and I can state that money had nothing at all to do with any of the players that have joined us from Emerald over the past two years. When the players in question read this last week they - particularly the quote about not enjoying where they're at - garnered two reactions. The first was gape mouthed disbelief, the second was incredulous laughter. I can only imagine how much they must hate playing for a club that is currently sitting 2nd on the 1st Division ladder.

Each one of those players approached us - not the other way around. It was very obvious in each case, before they made the decision to join our club, that they had no intention of playing at Emerald - it was just a matter of which club they chose. That they chose to play with us was a decision based upon our culture, environment, quality of coaching and a desire to be a part of a club that is developing in all the right areas.

Anyone who really understands football and footballers understand this, and that money is very rarely the determining factor for most players, when deciding their future.

l applaud the restraint and professionalism shown by you and the Gembrook football club over the constant lies and inuendo over the last 2 years about why poor old Emerald have lost players.Last time l counted there were only 4 players that came from that club to Gembrook,of which only 3 are playing this year.One of the players was called by Emerald this year to play in there vets side.They must have a gun vets side.The other 3 left in circumstances that Emerald know and l cannot comment on for legal reasons.They were never going to continue on at that club after the events that took place.What about the other mass exodus of players over the last 2 years to other clubs.Nothing said about that.Bills article,if the comments reported actually came from his mouth would have to be one of the poorest displays of professionalism and sportsmanship that l have ever witnessed in my 40 years of football.Stop blaming everyone else for the clubs poor performances over the years.That club would for one reason or another always struggle to keep players.Dont have cracks at players who want to play higher a standard of football under the best coaches that can be appointed.The kids can only benefit from this and local football as well.Behaving in this manner will certainly not attract players back to this club.l am proud to be a member of the Gembrook Cockatoo Football Netball Club as are the players and parents that have come along.Brooka for life!!!!!

You guys have come out all guns blazing - good to protect your patch. Are you certain some Emerald comments were not directed down Emerald Monbulk Rd? There has been a fair few travel down that rd over the past 20yrs

I note that they have already advertised for New Coaches for the 2011. Thats being proactive! Any reason why Scooney & the others arent coaching???

The key word was up not down.Could'nt care less what happens at that club.
 
Obviously Silvan never saw the news last week re: Doveton Eagles judging from the behaviour on Saturday.

The end of the season can't come quick enough for a few.

Yeah I read that article NoChance, good pick up !

I loved Mal Michaels very "noble" effort to not play on the weekend to for-go a match payment. Here's an idea Mal; why didn't you play on the weekend for no money ? Now there's an idea !!!!

No Chance, you are really really obsessed now, why would you be at a Wandin-Silvan when your team is playing, l would think you would be supporting your team not following a rable like Silvan!!!!!!!!!!!the plot gets thicker.

I would of thought if there was no truth to it why would it bother you? As its a forum were things are discussed in regard to football, Silvan is allowed to be discussed. It was never an issue when you were up and flying to start continuous threads on everything Silvan so suck it up. :thumbsu:

You say why would it bother the Silvan supporters, maybe there sick of people like you bagging there club, its just like when you get defensive about the Nicky Winmar situation, you say he didnt leave the club in disaray but most people beg to differ, didnt he break Degraffs jaw, didnt he take your money & piss off & if these statements are true or false who cares.
Like most people say its a public forum re-football, all clubs have a past good or bad regarding players so called buying flags whatever you want to call it but really who cares, debate the footy who is going to win this years flag the league B&F but just have a look at every clubs history & lm shore there will be something you dont like, so unless you have personally lost from the Silvan rise & fall l would say most forum people would say shut the F@#K up.
 
NOCHANCE is ADAM HUMPHREY wears number 17 and plays in Warby's 2nds, you can bet NOCHANCE & HUMP17 will jump on here & try to deny this, if they do then im vindicated, make no mistake i am 100% on the money, now that everyone knows who this clown is, it might put an end to the constant barage of crap we all have to put up with!
