Can i ask where you stayed?

Trying to find a place to stay in the city centre, but i hear there are dodgy areas in and around downtown San Fran.

If one walks past Pier 1 and then inland (which will be to the left of the city centre) from about 6-8th avenue it gets damn dodgy.

I realised this when i was backpacking around, subsequently started walking back the way I cam however I found myself on 10th avenue and in an even more dodgy part of town....cab please...

God dammit. Was originally supposed to go in January but my sister has come down with a bad case of glandular fever. Now we are going in late June after exams, another freaking 7 months to wait as i've waited 6 months already for it to be January.

Oh well, warmer weather I suppose, but i just need to screeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmm.

Anyone have a time machine I can borrow?
