Part of the reason food the forward lines being 'boring' I think is because most of the forwards aren't actually forwards. Players like Beams, Sidebottom, Dangerfield surely will be midfielders next year...Martin still gets a lot of forward time so he'll probably stay and not sure about Robbo...but I think if there are less midfielders in the forward line you'll be forced to chose goal-kickers who are far more inconsistent and will create more variety.

Tentative at the moment. Not sure if I should have Cox with Giles as backup, or Giles to Mullet.

Why do you have Barlow on the bench and Cloke on the field? You really should be looking to trade Barlow, Mitchell or Jelwood to Beams.

Because I only have 3 trades left. I ended up getting Maric instead of Cox, it was the bye rounds and Eliminator which tempted me to have the current midfield, I know I'm a fool for having Barlow on the bench, but it may be good if a few popular midfielders get 2 week injuries.

No, in reality I was going alright until the bye rounds, then my trading was plain idiotic. Ranked 469 now, was 201 in round 11 so stupid trading didn't work as well as I'd hoped.

I could upgrade another defender this week, but I'm not wasting 2 trades to do so, especially since I have only 4 trades left.

Will be looking to sideways Ziebell to Murphy in 2-3 weeks when Murph comes back and bottoms out and possibly Treloar to Goodes next week or the week after depending on which way their prices rise/fall, but that is a luxury trade that I may not need to make if Treloar keep playing and scoring well.

Will try and upgrade one of Bugg, Ellis or Shaw to a fallen premo. Possibly Fisher if his price dips below 300k. I am taking the patient aproach from here on and will try to make 2-3 final upgrades if/when the prices are right wthout downgrading, otherwise will just play this team and use my remaining trades for LTI's.

Doesn't seem like the gun-filled midfield that many have, but Jack's been an excellent unique this year. Sloane's best has been excellent, even if he's up and down week to week.

Holding off on trades for now, all 4 trades will be later in the season and ideally upgrades.

Good cash reserves there for a bit of a finals tilt, I like the idea of a bit of uniques in the midfield anyway - makes it interesting
