For mine it was the superstar of the '94 qualifying final vs Carlton at the now defunct VFL park... Aaron Lord, who carved Carlton a new one in a game that we had no right to win, but took them apart.

Close second would be David Spriggs, who constantly promised but ran second best to his vanity mirror.

Third place goes to Shane Brueur who could have been anything, but ended up being nothing.

Sadly he he not only didn't live up to expectation, he ate them. :thumbsu:

Steven Salopek... #6 pick

Simply been derailed by injuries and could never stay on the park.

Still atleast it only cost us Barry Brooks + pick #13 to get Steven Salopek + Byron Pickett... tyvm.

Rodan, gilmour, dragasevic, morrison, mcmahon, gourdis, Jackson (never rated him but some tigers fans did), Marty McGrath, weller, limbach Shultz, Tambling, Meyer, polo, pattison, Jon, cleave Hughes, nason, juricha, plapp... Want me to go on

Tragic history is tragic :(

James Cook. An absolute knob head ex Carlton player who was lazy & fat. Was supposed to be the new hope KPF who would kick bags of goals.

Steve Malaxos came to us from the WAFL with big expectations in 1985. Played 9 games then left the club at the end of 1985. Two years later he racked up over 500 posessions in West Coast's first season.

Simon Minton-Connell. Came to us in 1995 after playing with the Bad News Swans in the early 1990's. Gave us nothing. Plus he had the gheyest voice of any footballer in history. Went on to the Bulldogs where he played well.

Brett O'Farrell or Shit O'Barrel. Showed he could be the next big ruck-forward with 8 or 9 games with Sydney in 1998. We happily handed over a first-rounder for this spud who ended up playing less than 20 games.

Special mentions to high draft picks Bitch Thorp, Faux Fowler and Beau Mutton.

This shows how little I know - but I remember Keenan Reynolds starting at North in 95 after moderate success at Footscray... I thought he would be a gun............ he was useless

Bit harsh.

Had a great 97 (incl a 6 goal prelim) and backed it up in 98 (but got himself rubbed out for the finals).

Was a fat, lazy prick, though.

Remember Cats were going to pay big bucks for Rawlings..?:eek:

We really dodged a bullet there. But we did do the No.1 trade of the 21st century when we got Otto from Bitchmond :thumbsu:

I'm sure he will remember himself as a Geelong premiership player that was snatched from the despair of Bitchmond. What a happy human being he must be today
