Probably the best game I’ve played, on par with my 49 at Collier 2 weeks back.

Finished right on 50, so unfortunately didn’t break it again, but had plenty of opportunities to knock a putt off, just silly things like 4 foot putts being underpowered, etc.

Starting to feel like I’m not over swinging with my irons which is nice!

Was .4 off making it an exceptional score and having a further shot taken off.

I’d have thought a 46 pointer was definitely outside “normal” and you’d cop the -1 penalty. I copped it for a 42 a while back.

Yeah, I copped the -1.

I was 0.4 from copping the -2, because the score difference was +1.7 with a GA of 7.9 (bloody kids have blown it out haha) for a total difference of 9.6.

16 over today. 2 doubles, 4 pars and the rest bogeys. Not too bad considering I wrenched my back before we started and by the 7th really aggravated it. Could not drive the ball from that point and suspect I wont be able to move in the morning.

Brother beat me by 2 shots. Holed his second shot of the day...8 iron for an eagle on the first!

I played there Wednesday night. Gee the course is in sparkling condition!

Just need to rip up all the greens and put down Pure Distinction and it's all you'd ever want as a member.

Greens just got cored and sanded pre Christmas so not quite back to best. We’ve got PD on The Furrows to give it a trial. I have heard some murmurs about PD being a bit susceptible to disease…
I’m pretty sure the grass we have is only at KH and Augusta, and we have a big batch of seed in cold storage. I don’t think they’ll change in the short term.
I would like to see them quicken up a bit though but can be risky in summer.
