Brutalized playing in the Tombstones this morning.
Stroke off the Black Tees, nett 79, didn't have to raise the bat for the ton which was one positive.
Lost a ball on 9,10,11 which really stuffed up the scorecard.
Only one 3 putt was a nice change.

ps... if anyone here ever wants to take on the Challenge, it's the 1st Tues of every month...some decent prizes for the top 5. Let me know if interested, happy to share the pain.

Peninsula yesterday. An all day event consisting of rounds on both courses. Body hurts now. Alt shot meant slight relief. General play is not easy playing this format given rhythm can be lost.

Driver.
I used to sway. Now right hip back, almost feel like pushing towards target then pulling left hip back on downswing. And slower! Tempo.
As full a turn as possible seems to have got the club in position on all swings.

I'm pretty good off the tee...especially now that i use the mini driver more often than not.
It's from 50mts in that's letting me down, and lag putting.

Just got to get the speed right on the greens. Turn 3 putts into 2...big difference.

just play the same course over and over. that gives you 5 or 6 drop in HC
