Solid 36pts at KH yesterday. 22 out, 14 back (started thinking about the score!!!).

But this led to my goal being reached. I’m absolutely thrilled but also strangely empty.

I'm a 12. So not far off. Need to get that swing changed of the tee for driver. If I could have that working I have no doubt I will be single digits too.

Yeah in addition to the above its basically just staying in play off the tee, no penalty drops and getting out of bunkers in 1.

That’s what did it for me. Slowed the takeaway, got it back into a better position. Once it clicked I started thinking only about target. Still **** it up on occasion but % of fairways hit is way up.

Might be time to invest in another lesson....lol

Heard big things about Tim Wood and he often has some last minute cancellations, see if I can nab one.

I know what I do wrong, I just can't seem to fix it.

Started on 10, so double, double start was not inspiring. Kept my head, and played pretty well from that point on. Finished 1 shot back from the medal winning number, but no regrets, no shots left out there.

I’d be more anxious about the emptiness that will come when you slip back out to double figures. Don’t be that guy telling everyone how you used to be off single figures!

Bookmark it for about a month. Will be dropping a 40pointer followed by 2 37pointers in the next 6 rounds.

The national gc . old course. just a beautiful place. Lost 1 ball in the drink. Enjoyable and good company. Lots of 3 putts on the large greens. But a lot of shaved holes aka brazilians. 89 strokes, some of them good strokes (but not that type of good stroke), some of them not good strokes (but not that type of bad stroke).

Yesterday had a cordial gentile round at pk. just a nice walk with good friends. Played pretty well i think. 91 with 3/18 GIR lol.

Played golf at national. did not lose a ball. 12/15 fairways.
34 putts average first putt length of 7.9m.

Great company, extremely friendly and personable. score in the low to mid 80s in stroke round which was pleasing. tomorrow stroke again same company.

Started on 10, as usual. Stupid triple on 11, ball in water on 13 (great recovery to make bogie), then chopped it around on 14. From there played pretty well, happy with 34 in the end. Early rubbish aside, not many left out there.

Sandringham today, havent played in a few weeks nor put a card in.

Pretty good until 3 pickups and 1 point in my final 4 holes. Tired and hungover didn't help.

32 point, can't complain.

heck the course is in beautiful nick. I’m very very lucky to be playing golf on this track.
