Ok so I’ve got another story to share with you guys, I’m pretty sure I shared a UFO story on here a few years ago. This experience was more of a time slip or something to that effect that happened earlier this year. So one evening, I think it was around January or February this year I was walking my dog and we walked passed this Indian restaurant on Henley Beach Road (I forget the name of the restaurant but for all the Adelaide locals it’s right next door to Napolis pizza) at first I didn’t notice but when we crossed Henley beach road I glanced at the Indian restaurant and realised that it had changed so I stopped to take a good look and all of a sudden it had changed to an ice cream restaurant I stared at it in confusion, then just took it as a change of ownership and carried on with the walk.

Anyway after a week or so and after telling a few people about this apparently new ice cream restaurant, I ended up walking past it again and low and behold it was back to being an Indian restaurant again! I was just standing there in even more confusion. As soon as I got back home I told my dad and brother about it, I even asked my brother if he remembered me telling him and my sister about the new ice cream restaurant? And he remembered, my sister remembered it too. It was so strange, to this day I wonder whether I really did see it or did I just have a dream about it that felt very real? I doubt that because I can remember the entire walk that day. I’m also keeping a close eye on that Indian restaurant to see if it ever turns into an ice cream restaurant lol

If anyone is interested in a good psychic medium go see Jackie Gilles in Melbourne , she seriously is unbelievably accurate and blew my mind when I went . I was a bit of a sceptic when I went but not anymore .

How does it work? Do you just sit there and they start telling you things? do they probe for information?

A strange thing happened to me once in a hotel in Singapore. I went to bed drunk and fully clothed. Next thing I knew I was awake and in the corridor outside my room. The door was locked. Fortunately I could just go downstairs and request a spare room key from the late-night desk clerk.

( I always wonder whether "something" grabbed me and put me out in that corridor. The hotel was in a restored shophouse on Joo Chiat Road.)

I'd put it down to an overdose of alcohol, I experienced similar and missing hours a few times when I was a drinker many moons ago.

I've had plenty of ghostly, supernatural, demonic experiences occur to me thruout my first two or three decades of existence in this mortal realm. And only one UFO/extraterrestrial experience when i was a kid. I've had a few religious/spiritual experiences in my last or current decade of existence in this mortal realm. I've had a LOT of phenomenon-like experiences thruout, wild/impossible "coincidences", telepathic communications, prophetic happenings, and such.

My beliefs on all of the above varies. UFOs = no. Ghosts/Demons = yes and no. God = yes and no. Telepathy = yes. Pre-Destiny, no Free Will = Yes.

Sarcasm GG.exe , sarcasm mate
Dont take my reacts at face value. Its generally opposite of what it is. Except for Sad, im always sad. And, always angry. But also neither, but not happy or either. Tho sometimes it can happen, but id call it more surprise or non-sadness/non-anger.

you prob just blacked out and left your room without realising.

I moved into my current house in 2007- a Victorian style home, inner West of Adelaide. It was a big every, empty house when I moved into it, as a Batchelor.
I settled on the second room away from the front of the property (due to being on a main road), despite it being the smallest bedroom of the house. This room is adjacent the cellar.
Batchelor Era
I had a black cat, and he seemed very freaked out in the first week of being in the new house- put it down to change of scenery.
However, one night as I drifted off to sleep, I felt something sit down on the bed, and then push down repeatedly- something cats do before laying down, so I just assumed it was the cat. After a bit, I felt the cat get up, and jump down on the floor.
Next morning I went to leave for work- that cat was outside wanting to come in. This was struck me as odd, because the cat can’t come ad go as it pleases, there was no entry or exit for it.

Girlfriend Era
Met a girl, she moves in. I have an office at the back of the house- no one can go to the toilet without going past the office.
So several times in this period, whilst in the office (mainly late at night) there were occasions where I sensed the GF walking past to go to the toilet- only no noise of anyone going to the toilet. I went down to the bedroom and had to wake here, to ask if that was her in the toilet- she was clearly asleep and hadn’t been.
She also had times when she thought I had walked past a room when I hadn’t.

Children Era
we have kids, the above behaviour is likely to have continued, but when my eldest is approximately 4-5 , it gets interesting.
He starts saying that there is a man in the house at various time- this escalates to the point where my son says the man talks to him at night, and encourages him to stay awake, and be naughty.
I’ll add that my son’s bedroom is my former bedroom (in the Batchelor days).
His bed faces the door to passage.
My son asks me to lay with him before going to sleep.
One night, as I’ve drifted of to sleep next to my son, he grabs me by the shoulder shaking me- “Dad, there’s a man standing in the doorway, he’s watching us”- can’t you see him?” I said no, I can’t.
Th way he said it, he was serious- he’s not a kid who can keep the slightest bit of a straight face when he’s bullsh**ing.
I ask him questions- ones where he has to provide answers of his own, not me steering him in any particular direction.
He’s truthfully telling me what he can see/has seen.
My daughter woke us up screaming one night- my wife entered the room, and it looked like her legs had been pulled through the cot, and her blanket was flung across the room.
She was hysterical, and refused to go back in the room.
Another night, I’m working late (9-10pm), I get a distressed call from my (now) wife- they were sitting in the lounge room, my wife in the corner, when my son looks up and says “mum, there’s a man standing behind you”.
It’s at this point we are not sure what to do.
However, I just happened to relay this story to a client who I had built a friendship with, and they looked at me and said- I don’t tell many people this , but I have experience dealing with these types of issues.
He ended up coming to the house, and without any prompting from us, identified exactly where this took place.
Even stated that the spirit was present- he removed it from the house, and we’ve not noticed anything since (we still live in the house).
The guy said that I was too strong a presence for this thing, so he picked on the kids- apparently the wife (who had back issues) had something attached itself to her.

This happened around 5 years ago, so I may have forgotten a few things- but the overall story is true as I stand here today.

Apologies for bumping an old post but Jesus christ what the f*ck!

If any of this is true than it would fit right in The Aussie Conjuring series.

i worked in a restaurant from 1982 thru to 1993 in moonee ponds
it was a very old building built in the 1850s,,, we found while renovating
the building an old tombstone it was dated 20/08/1892
suzanna plitz was the ladys name on the tombstone
her husband was herman plitz who died years earlier
even b4 discovering the tombstone we always thought the place was haunted
anyone who had workd there for a long time all had weird experiences they
could not explain,,, anyway we did some research through the moonee ponds historical society
and found the original building was a funeral parlour and a place where dead bodies were kept whilst waiting
to be collected by family or for burial,,, anyone who died on the goldfields in ballarat and bendigo during
the gold rush there bodies would be kept in this building,,, we also found large concrete slabs buried in the car park whilst doing major
gardning work, we never actually found any bodies , we were never 100 % sure if people were buried there or not but im sure they were.
which would explain so many weird happenings in the restaurant

I've written this elsewhere on this site, but I'll write it here too.

My friend is this huge sceptic about anything to do with the paranormal, but he's fascinated by it at the same time. So one day, he says that he wants to fu** around with a Ouija board. "fu** that," I say. "I don't want to get involved. You're just asking for bad stuff to happen to you." Anyway, he's pretty insistent, so I tell him that since he's going to do it anyway, I'll be there to make sure he doesn't do something stupid. "But we're going to do this properly....we're going to put wards up." So I spend the day creating these lovely sigils out of coloured cardboard with grammatically perfect Hebrew names of God written on them - Yahweh, AGLA (Atah Gibor Le-Olam Adonai), Elohim and Adonai. And I put them all around the room before doing a lesser banishing ritual of the pentagram towards each direction. Cause you know, you can't ever be too careful.

So we do the Ouija session, and I kid you not, one of the first things the thing says was in Hebrew. "Really?" Then it couldn't talk to us at all - it was all random sh*t. This was when my friend was asking the questions. So I said "Give me a shot" and sure enough, it could speak to me. I've said this elsewhere, but it said that it was sorry, that most people were afraid and that it wanted to eat my soul. I laughed and said "I bet you do. What about my friend, do you want to eat his soul?" and it said he didn't have one. LOL.

Fast forward to the start of this year. Friend and I are drinking and smoking a bit of weed as you do - nothing too outrageous and neither of us was wasted. "Remember when we did that Ouija thing the last time I was here?"

So of course, we're going to try it again. Only this time, there's no wards up.

fu** it, it's not my house. Nothing really happens - we talk to one spirit, only this time, when my friend asks if he has a soul, the demon says yes.

Now, it's at this point that I should tell you that wards are meant to make you invisible to spirits. So when the wards were up, that was the reason why demons couldn't communicate with my friend, but they could with me because unlike him, I actually believe in them and am fully aware of the dangers and pay them the high level of respect they deserve. Faith in god provides a shield that is greater than any ward - the Lesser Key of Solomon states that ceremonial magick is only a necessity when the practitioner needs a visual crutch to lean on when it comes to incantations and the like.

I say this...because it was after this point that weird sh*t started happening at my friend's house.

The first thing he tells me was that his dog had kept barking at something that wasn't even there one night. Not just barking, growling too.

Then that same dog got sick. Really sick. He finds out that she has cancer and it's super aggressive.

He then messages me and tells me that something is walking around in his living room when he goes to bed at night. It gets so bad that he actually gets up and locks his bedroom door, because he swears that someone is out there...but no one is. He sets up cameras to try and see what is happening. Meanwhile, his dog, who had been healthy only a month ago, dies.

About a month later, on a whim, I go visit a psychic. At the end of the session, I noticed that she did house clearings. "I've got this friend..."

"He used a Ouija board didn't he?"

"Err, yeah. How did you know? Oh, psychic...right."

"I don't want to get involved. He's opened up two portals in his house, and one is in his living room. If he doesn't close them, bad things will keep happening to him. He'll have bad luck, animals will get really sick...he needs to speak to this person who is into demonology."

I gave him the number. Not sure if he's called it.

The moral of the story is this - DON'T fu** WITH THINGS YOU DON'T HAVE RESPECT FOR.

Lol I completely forgot about this thread. Call me Tim Shaw from Demtel, cause wait, there’s still more!

My friend doesn’t call the demonologist. The demon gets louder and profoundly more aggressive - it goes from opening up his fridge to literally slamming into his locked bedroom door. He is lying awake thinking he is going to die, that’s how loud the banging is. But then another friend of ours wants to move in with him for a bit, so the paranormal stuff dies down.

Or does it?

Fast forward a couple of months later. My friend is in his bedroom watching television and hears the front door open, and the mutual friend goes to his room and closes the door. “Rude campaigner,” he thinks. “Didn’t even say hello.”

Anyway, my friend goes outside to get something out of his car…the other dude’s car isn’t even there. Messages him: Did you come home an hour ago and then leave? Nope, he’s been out all day and hasn’t been home.

This is where he messages me and tells me what has happened. Immediately I message my other friend. “Dude, if I was you, I’d get a hotel room for the night or stay at a friends or something. There’s a demon in your room and if you open the door something really ****ing shit is going to happen to you.”

Didn’t listen to me, of course. What the **** would I know?

The very next day his dog kills my friends dog, and he’s not only forced to put her down, but the ordeal completely destroys his friendship with my other mate.

Bad ****ing juju man.

All of it true- I may have forgotten some stuff, but that was the most of it.
We never had moving objects, mysterious breakages, just my son seeing what he saw.
He still remembers it, and has described what he saw as a man, who was always taking notes (writing stuff as he says, and he re-enacted it for me)

He does do a good Elmo impersonation :thumbsu:

Remind me to tell you on Saturday all the other stuff that happened I'm hesitant to mention here as it's kinda nuts and some parts possibly faked (for example the ouija board I did with Mum, Dad and that write-off brother which I'm certain was real but I don't say anything in case somebody there says they faked it).

And then there's the small roars I would hear outside my window that I thought was a possum until I realised they would start at the same time (say, 11.30pm every Sunday) for months but never at any other time. Now that was freaky.
Please do share. Like PLEASE. Nothing is too crazy

Just had a visit this evening. Have only just calmed down my daughter. I know where the spirit has come from. A house close by with a history of a lot of pain and suffering. I think the spirit is interested in my daughter.
Update!?!?!?

*Bit of a long winded story but i never really talk about this stuff with anyone so getting a chance to write it down is good*

My personal experience is pretty crappy compared to most in here. Just had a few odd coincidences in my life that i've never really thought too much of but always had at the edge of my mind. I don't know if there are any NT folk here, but the Poinciana woman at East Point in Darwin is one i was always scared of, and convinced myself that i had seen lights, doors slamming etc. Was never sure though. Some other ones that are a bit less easily explained:

Music Box:
Grandpa brought Nan one of those old wind up music boxes with the ballerina in it when he moved over to Darwin from the Czech Republic, and gave it to her on their wedding night. Lasted about 15 years, then was blown out of the house when Cyclone Tracy destroyed the place. She found it during cleanup but it didn't make any noise any more. He ended up having a due to his injuries from Tracy and died in hospital about 6 months later. Skip forward to 2014, on their 55th wedding anniversary, I was at her house with her and we heard a faint noise coming from her room. Both walked in, and the balarina had popped out of the box, spinning and playing the tune. No real logical answer behind why it would suddenly play 40 years later (not to mention it would have needed to be winded up by someone).

Son:
My partner was 4 weeks pregnant with him (we didn't know at that stage) and saw a psychic after we moved to Adelaide, because she thought that could help her depression/sleep paralysis. Whilst there, the psychic said something like "i feel a familiar spirit in the room" and mentioned it was coming from around my partner, but not her specifically. Turns out she was pregnant. Anyway, 9 months passed, baby was born etc etc. Fat little grumpy bugger in his early days, never showed any affection or liked to smile.
He was at my partner's dad house, sitting on the couch with her and the dog, when all of a sudden he started giggling and smiling, reaching his hands out, towards the corner of the room. Going off his normal temperament, that was a little odd. Then the dog started growling and barking aggressively, towards the exact same spot in the room! Partner freaked and called me, and i freaked a bit as it was my grandma's 15 year anniversary since her passing (different grandma from above,). Over the next year or so, he constantly laughed and played with something in his room. Once he could start talking and walking, it's gotten worse. He used to tell us that a man watched him sleep in his cot, that there is a little girl that stands in our walk-in-wardrobe in our room as she's not allowed to leave, he runs into our room at all hours of the night screaming that someone wants to get him, told the ladies at kindy that "his friend" told him to cut mummy and daddy. All the stuff i figured was just an active imagination/maybe he'd snuck out of his room and seen us watching TV. The one that got me though, recently he was sitting on the couch watching TV with us, and then randomly stood up, grabbed his craft box, and walked out into the backyard. He sat outside on the pavement, putting stickers all over a piece of paper and was giggling like he was doing it with someone else. We walked out to check on him, and he looked up at us saying "I'm doing stickers with Mim, she's from Darwin".

This scared the crap out of me, and my whole family when i called them and told them because : when i was a kid, she used to get me to put stickers on everything because i was a terrible drawer, i called her Mim as a kid because it was close to Mum, and she was from Darwin. I'd never mentioned her name to him, where she was from or anything and he knew it all.

Combined with the weird giggles on her death anniversary right after he was born, I'm just royally freaked out by this and don't really know how to react/what to do/whether im just going crazy
Update on your son?

Update.... omg I'm obsessed with this thread again

Part 3

So now we're at the point where my friend has become literally obsessed with ghosts and demons. There are two types of people in the world - people who run away from the fire and people who run towards it. My friend is the latter. He's getting those light up motion detector balls, he's buying EMF detectors...all sorts of crazy shit. And we're going out to various cemeteries trying to have these paranormal experiences.

Now, if you're attuned to the spirit world, you'll know that a cemetery can be one of the most peaceful places you can go (when most of the people who have been laid to rest are restful spirits - kind of like going to a nursery where babies are asleep) or the worst place you can go when the people buried there are restless spirits who were wronged in someway and seeking vengeance.

The cemetery on the outskirts of Kapunda is most assuredly the latter. I've never felt such a feeling of dread as I have walking into that place. You know those scenes in old western movies where the guy walks into the saloon and the music stops playing and everyone turns and looks at him because they are expecting something bad to happen? Just like that.

But that's not where the freaky shit happened. No, the freaky shit happened back at my friends house. A girl was with us during these little adventures - at the time we would go on ghost tours and everything - and we were sitting in my friend's room trying to talk to whatever spirit was in his house through a spirit box. My friend asks a question 'Where are you?'

'On the couch'

Now I'm sitting on the couch at this point in time. We pull out the EMF reader, and next to me on the couch it's going off the charts. Then I shit you not, I felt something poke me in the side with what felt like a finger. I don't say anything, cause I wonder if anyone else will feel it. Sure enough, the girl gets up from where she was sitting and goes to stand in the kitchen.

"I felt something poke me before," I say.

"No way," says the girl. "I felt something like that too - that's why I went to stand in the kitchen!"
