Being a Full Back
The Good: Having 19 goals kicked on me in a season of 18 games.
The Bad: Doing my ACL in the last game of the same home and away season.
The Ugly: Watching my replacement get 9 goasls kicked on him in the grand final, knowing that the full forward had only kicked 2 points on me in our previous 2 games.
The Really Ugly: The opposition coach coming up to me after the game and telling me that they were glad that I was injured.
The Really, Really Bad: It took 2 knee recons to fix my knee. Even the second surgeon was astounded at the crap job the first butcher had done to it. And its still no where near 100% nearly 10 years on.
The Really, Really, Really Bad: I ended up coming 2nd in the B&F that year, but my career was OVER.

I used to self commentate as I kicked rolled up socks around the house. "Daicos from an impossible angle!" As the sock ball dribbled from my foot.

I kicked some amazing sock goals through my bedroom door.
I put Daicos to shame many times.
If it wasn't for my dodgy knees and shoulders I would have been the greatest sock kicker ever.

Second best my friend .... :)

Well you guys might beat me at kicking socks. But when it comes to kicking inside / outside banana kicks up a hill and nailing the middle of the goals (two fence posts) 9yo me has you beat.

I know you have been involved in footy clubs before Swooop. Surely you have some good stories to tell!

Good: Playing in an undefeated premiership year and beating a team by 270 odd points with each player kicking at least one goal on my team. My team won by an average of 126 points that year, it was bloody awesome.

Bad: Broke and dislocated my leg playing footy in the first 5 mins of a pre season scratch match the next season effectively ending footy for me.

Ugly: finding out I made the state team while sitting in the emergency ward after breaking the leg

i got onto a torp once............................once :thumbsu:

thats it :(
Tried kicking the "perfect torp" a million times and eventually came to the conclusion only unco's could do it well.:thumbsu::D

Anyway, kicked 9 straight in a half of footy back in the under 12's (1970's).......and the coach was paying 50 cents a goal....when 50 cents was a weeks pocket money.

Never emulated the feat in any other form of footy.

I kicked a team mate in the head at training because he was English. Not my best moment.
Props.
Poms deserve it......:D:D

Only kidding Primetime.....
