Millky95 once bit me; converting me into a Vampire. It was the worst disease I had ever contracted; which is surprising as I was bitten in April 2020.

Unfortunately an older version of the committee was not welcome to Vampires like myself; forcing me to choose another team.

I had multiple offers from multiple clubs; and ultimately took the one that didn’t have another rookie. My intention wss to only stay at the Furies until Millky95 got the Vampires up.

But I guess I’m still waiting for that day

I was part of the intake that came from the SFA tour of the Freo board between seasons 28 & 29, which included the likes of Piggy Smalls bone2468 Cesoir jusjoshin PurpleGreenRed & Randomizor as well as a couple of accounts that are now pining for the fjords.

Just reminded of how I was recruited and I thought I would like to hear other stories

I was wandering around the NFL board and got an email from Blacky

I mentioned he needed to leave a brown paper bag on my doorstep

He did so but I must warn against putting burning paper bags out by stomping on them

So how the hell did you end up here? Did you wander in by mistake , were you recruited as part of a club board drive by or did you stumble on here and decided you liked these sick freaks?

A couple of mates had come across the league. They only played a season or two, but I was hooked pretty quickly.

Soon after I joined, there was a wave of new posters who’d go on to do great things. At a time when the league was quieter, us upstarts tried taking it up to the then ‘veterans’, though were they really veterans 9 seasons into the history of the league?

A Legends V Newbies exhibition series was formed, best of 3. boncer34 leading the legends and me leading the newbies.

The legends won the series, but it served as a platform for many of us upstarts to carry the league into an era I still consider, from my own very biased view, to be the best in the Sweet FA (seasons 14-20).

Glad I got the tip off from a couple of mates, even if they didn’t last.

After that pantskyle had been here for a season and told me the place was pretty fun, eventually I took a look after he mentioned it again and started posting during the finals of S15. This got me involved in time to have my first games as part of a winning SOO side for NSW/ACT and I was pretty hooked on a league that was starting to focus on posting and media, in a way the start of what we know today. SOO teammate SOG/Nakia or however he is known today steered me to the Dragons and I started my time in a fantastic online community.

I originally stumbled upon the SFA when it was in its infancy and then sort of forgot about it, I was recruited to the Swampies by MP_ and another poster. I disappeared for awhile came back and got recruited by thewizardmelon to the then Phoenix and have there ever since.
