Would Alex Ischenko still have been playing then? Because I went to some barn dance thing that the players held and I danced with Alex! I'm pretty sure we had beaten Essendon the night before. Would that be right?

just had a look on the 1993 poster i just happen to have on my wall and yes the big russian was playing back then.

Thanks, mighty mick! :)

BTW, can I ask why you have a poster that is twelve years old hanging on the wall?

ive got all the team posters the from the club, they used to give them to members and for some strange reason thats one that i kept on my wall,

cant remember if it was a fluke or if it was because the begining of a new era.

i also have a framed 1983 team poster hanging off another wall, i won that in the footy record comp and got to be part of that yrs grand final parade,

i bought the 1996 and 1999 premiership framed posters.

by the way the other posters are stored for safe keeping

i would rather get a team poster each yr than the north melborne caps.

Another favourite memory of mine occured after that very game when, whilst having a kick on the ground in amongst the thousands of kids and flying footys, a mate of mine drop kicked an errant ball straight into a cop's head. The funny thing at the time was the fact that the cop was on top of a horse. He was knocked clear off and rose seething and ready to kill the unknown footy sniper. He never found him but geez it was funny............in a nervous kind of way  . We ran for our lives........

very funny, mighty mick. Sounds very "denis". I'm sure his mind would have been elsewhere.
