I'm really not happy about this, and its because of one player that I really want to see solid game footage of - Dom Tyson. On paper he sounds good, and he gets big wraps generally, but the actual footage I've seen makes him look a hell of a lot like Ben Jacobs last year - a lot of only just getting the ball clear, some real clumsy play and overall looking like he's good against boys, but AFL level? I dunno, doesn't sit right for me. It really wouldn't shock me if he was at #6.

I guess the main thing I'd like to know is, what makes him a better option than Greene? He's a couple inches taller, probably a bit faster, but is that it?

1. Patton
2. Coniglio
3. Buntine
4. Wingard
5. Tomlinson
6. Greene/Tyson?

also Porthos Buntine and Tyson have yet to play against men even though the TAC cup is strong where as Coniglio and Wingard for example have played against men for 2 years.

I'm not so worried about whether or not they have played against grown players, but seeing a style of play that is already based on half-chances and relying on the incompetence of your opponents when you've only played against other underage players, that worries me.

Really like the look and size of Tomlinson :thumbsu:.

If we can't get the 'Guard' then I'd be happy
with Tomlinson. Can just imagine him and
Jackson standing next to each other in a year
or two, scary stuff.

Guess everyone will have subtly different criteria in their minds for an arbitrary "top 6". I'm not even sure what mine are  But thinking about this from a few more angles will have me changing my "draft game" entry. I'm a bit more confident of our pick 6.

3. Wingard
4. Tyson
5. Longer
6. Tomlinson
(7. Buntine)
