He is on a mill a year at Port, so money isn't the factor.

Hearing Port are interested in Parish. They're in a Premiership window and Ken needs to keep winning to stay in the job. Essendon would likely pay a decent amount of his salary so minimal cap impact for Port.

This one has just kept bubbling away.

Can see it being tied in with a Butters trade; sending a ready-to-go player and a draft selection Ports way.

Zak Butters is a player who has been in the media recently about asking for a trade.
If you feel that you don't want to discuss it, then don't, and certainly don't post to deliberately try to derail the thread into some shit fight.

Never seen anything that states as a fact, that Butters is on a million a year. Guaranteed it was only around 650k to 750k when he signed last for the few years so he could then put the effort in and get what he's deserved by his efforts. Hence the initial contract being a couple years. That's how Zak roles clearly. He wants to prove himself first.

So this 1 million contract that he's already allegedly on, IMO is garbage. But, he will no doubt be worth that and more and Guaranteed he will remain at Port and sign an extension.
