Thought sinn and jones played well.. burgoyne as well
The debutant looks like a 12 year old but gee he looked poised.
Liked the move of rioli up the field more..
Hope all the limping was just cramp
Still gave up 50 inside 50s.
Still get dry rooted by the umps

Nobody has gone anywhere to beat the side that finished bottom last year is no feat the galas that extract anything meaningful are only deluding themselves.

Tbh I'm trying to figure out who's idea it was to put Rioli in midfield because that worked out a treat in Q1
The biggest concern I have in Berry is his set shot kicking. Was a gun till he was drafted. Then came to Port and the first 2 regulation set shots he's had he's missed.

Rioli was immense in the first half, he is the X factor we need in the middle at times.
Moraes looked like he belonged out there, no first game jitters. 94% DE is excellent.
Evans lot of the ball but lacked poise at times and was fumbly. Still learning so I'm sure he will bounce back, his best is very good.
Jones better this week, needs to back it up.
Sinn played possibly his best game, I think as he gains confidence we are going to see a lot more. Hope he can stay injury free.

Rioli playing in the middle could be a hidden ace card.
Moraes looked real good. I was very concern since the knock on him in his draft year was his disposal efficiency and it does not help that his kicking action looks unco. Probably will start sub again next with Luko going down and most likely Finlayson will take his spot. Not to mention trying to fit Ratugolea into the back since there were times Port's smaller defence got exposed.
Evans fumbled at times but he is still only kid and will get better. He already started incorporating the half-back kicking long range goals into his repertoire.
Jones is a funny one because he has the physique and explosiveness to become a good player but my god is the gap between his good and his worst HUGE. At his best, he can break tackles and break through the lines and his ball use is not actually bad but he needs to somehow hold onto the ball and not fumble it.
It baffled me when I saw people wanted Sinn out. Thought he played well on Hill last week and kept him quiet and he only got his goals when the game was dead and buried. Today we saw him use his run and dash and his defensive work was pretty solid. I just pray that he does not have another soft issue related injury since this is his 4th season and if he cannot get his body right, it would be a bust considering what we gave up to move up 2 spots in his draft year.

I'd rather play one short.
Bring in Visentini and play him forward. He can chop out in the ruck too and give our midfield first use. Is a good set shot and competes hard and tackles well. Things Finlayson doesn't do

You know its not in Ken's nature to do something outside the box. He'll stick to what worked in the past even though players don't deserve to be selected.

Two hours after the game and the review thread is two and a half pages long lol. Back in the day we'd have had that within ten minutes of the end of the game. The most checked out fan base in the AFL by far.
