It's unfortunate BZT got injured, but that's one tall player out of your best 22. That doesn't excuse an undersized backline and forwardline together, and nobody over 183cm capable of playing second ruck.

I've been completely disenchanted since Saturday night qrt time, but debuting Moraes has me back on board. Hinks could've opted for Shatkins and the footy world wouldn't bat an eyelid but this is the opposite of what I expected to see this year with selections.

Hinkley is supposedly a selfless mofo, this is the first I've seen of it in a long while.

It'd be an overreaction if we made too many changes. Collingwood also got flogged in their first game and only made two changes (one forced).

A week is a long time in footy. Finlayson out is a positive and Moraes in over McEntee or Ratkins is also a positive.

We've all experienced plenty of 'Whateley's' in our lives. Completely false people. In Gerrard's world it's all fair play, rainbows and participation trophies. He would find the public questioning of his lovely Geelong boy distasteful. It's perfectly ok to angle for a coaches sacking, or sink a player for personal issues, as long as you do it with a smile. Also, any acknowledgement that Ken has failed just plays too hard against his established narrative over the years.

Burton can play tall back, he should generally be playing 3rd tall. We're only 1 short, but Richmond have not got much height down there anyway so I think for 1 week its not that big of a deal.

The coaches currently don’t have plans to play him to ensure they don’t revert back to bombing it inside 50.
