This was obvious from his first term. Trump wants a Russian, China, USA super alliance. And to be honest, it really does appear behind closed doors, Trump and Putin have already agreed to this in principle. The problem is removing all the military hurdles for Putin to expand Russian boarders into western Europe.

The sales figures that have emerged in 2025 have been poor. To be fair it would be partly due to increased competition, but the main reason would be due to his increased political profile and branding.

Initially there was a lift in share prices, I expect that would have been on the belief that his involvement with the incoming Trump administration had the potential to create growth opportunities for Tesla which would have fueled speculative buying of shares.

Those investors have now seen the sales figures and would have concerns that the CEO is too distracted and that be worried that his profile is becoming toxic for the brand. They've seen the writing on the wall and have sold their shares.

If the share price recovers, I guess you’ll be happy to admit your analysis was faulty?
