Very glad to put that one in the book, take the 4 points and move on. Had either side kicked decently for goal (them from set hots, us more from on the run) it could have been a comfortable 4 or 5 goal win either way. Felt like two pretty ordinary sides in terms of early form, but we found a way to win.
Thought Ladhams had his best game almost for the club today, Rowy was just Rowy, Warner did plenty of good stuff (and like always, a few mixed lollies mixed in), Jordan was terrific, and Bice continues to show that we've got a good 'un there.
A long way to go, but a win is a win and its a starting point.

That was awful to watch, honestly. Footy sucks, it's constant frustration for the hope of feeling okay at the end.
Anyway Ladhams best game for the club. McLean our best "small" forward.

Absolutely the most pleasing aspect of the game was our clearance work. Cox banged on about it all preseason and we were on point today. That's a very pleasing sign.
Sure, there's a lot to work on, but we have a lot of players out at the moment and some of our lesser likes are showing a lot.

I can’t force myself to care about AFL right now haha. GO THE (Illawarra) HAWKS!!! That was so good. 24 years in the making.
I caught the end of the Fremantle game too. That looked like a slog, but good finish. It would’ve been a bit of a dampener if they lost.
