Surely a premiership cup is back on the cards if we can take down the premiers AND the big dog Tarks while we’re at it, eh?

Challenge accepted

Although it does seem like beating last years premiers has been an easy task this year :thumbsupv1:

Oh wait i have another thing to say! I would be interested to hear people's thoughts on electric powered cars.

We are being encouraged to go electric because it's more environmentally friendly and all that, but according to this video they are bit of a nightmare!

It's problems in relation to the charging pretty much, the lack of charging stations, delays in waiting at a charging station, some of the chargers being out of order and it can take up to 30 minutes for the battery in an electric vehicle to fully charge.

Did some of you try an electric vehicle, did you stay electric or did you give up on it and go back to a petrol or diesel powered vehicle?

If i was ever purchasing or renting out a car i think i'd stick to the old fashioned petrol and diesel thanks!

Replace the battery at any stage and it's more than the cost of the car, and it ain't environmentally friendly once you factor in the mining costs and disposal when the battery is at end of life,

And while rare, still wouldn't like to be in this when the battery exploded

Dear god and that video right there is yet another reason not to buy an electric powered vehicle!

Ignore what those hippies from Greenpeace say. Diesel and petrol is still the way to go here.

The Teslas have been good battery wise, most of the explosions/fires are from cheaper Chinese batteries, they were removing overload protection to make the batteries cheaper, I'm assuming but don't know that that has improved.

It's also why you see the increase in e-scooter/bike fires etc, a lot of the time from overheating during recharging and having thermal runaway.

LOL, Tesla sales have dropped off and BYD is now the number one electric car maker, there was a don't want to be associated with Elon effect as well as cheaper competition, less intrusive and complex products.

I find it amusing that those Tesla electric cars have an on board touch screen computer/tablet device.

It's a bit like the Starship Enterprise in that aspect.:laughv1:

In regards to the e scooters and bikes, bus and train companies in Ireland have now banned them from being brought on board due to the fact that they're a fire hazard.

Morning Pugsley kenneyswarriors and the rest of you lot.

Hope things are good in Spotswood and you are treating the Hawks well (or as well as their current status permits - not sure what that is!)

Good morning Fleabane. Things are always good in Spotswood.

The Hawks are a good mob. The thread flows.
Hopefully, everything is well in your world.

Yeah, saw a vid of a E-bike courier in China, got in a lift with his bike to deliver parcel and came bolting out the doors when it started smoking, exploded moments after he exited.

Good to hear. Not too bad. Feeling a bit disgruntled this morning so I'm off to try to feel more gruntled! First a walk!
