    I was disappointed that a few more of the new players didn't play, due to injury or other reasons. We didn't get to see Kennedy, Brown, Shuey, Naitanui, Smith, JoJo, Scott Selwood etc.

    But Masten played and was good, as was Notte.

    Yes it will be nice to talk about proper footy again, we've had too long an off season with last year's "effort" at the back of our minds, and couldn't even watch Australia dominate the cricket to take our minds off it.

    Will you be down in Perth for any matches this year?

    [TOPIC SHIFT] Have you seen anything from the practice match this morning yet? I think there is/will be a video floating around somewhere. It was pretty good stuff, a fair few of the players didn't play, Swift was the only draftee that was there. Kerr killed it, Priddis was excellent, Cox was brilliant, and Hansen looked good up forward. Skills were a bit rusty, but it feels like footy season again Keys, and don't you just love it? The first NAB Cup match on next Saturday too.
