This is so wrong it’s laughable. And unbelievable.

This graphic was produced for the Prime Minister’s Dept and actually got past the clods responsible for vetting these things. I know ScoMo is clueless when it comes to β€˜reading the room’, and can’t shake his negative image when it comes women - but seriously for this to happen? It’s not April Fools.

Can someone tell ScoMo and his clever band of advisors that this is just a slightly better version of a graphic that we β€˜women’ are very familiar with - seen scribbled on the walls and doors of women’s toilets, often with instructions attached.

Went into the office today, feet very unhappy wearing socks and shoes. for most of 2 years working from home it's been bare feet with slippers or ugg boots when it's really cold.

So quiet, seems like people are not used to having others around them while they're working, no chit chat, conversations are in hushed or whispered tones, a phone call is taken off to a private space. The psyche of offices has changed.
100% my experience yesterday too for my first day back in ages.

My office is usually rocking along with banter but yesterday was eerily quiet. It felt odd.

Melbourne CBD is stuffed too, especially up the legal end near the courts. Most eateries have shut down, especially all my favourite Vietnamese restaurants where I feed my pho addiction.

I'm back home today and it's lovely - bare footed, shorts on and relaxed. My dogs look happy too!

It wasn't Scomo. He always draws ball hair.

Looks like it was designed by creeping assumption.

Love how all the news outlets think populating their articles with tweets from nobodies is acceptable journalism.

I think it got a fair bit of coverage. The tweets are filler.

Not suggesting it shouldn't be covered or it isn't a massive f up. But all news outlets seem to do it. "Let's just chuck in vox pop tweets that support or further sensationalise the article".

Some of the tweets in there are just b/s. The one about government funds being used to engage a graphic designer when the article quotes the department saying no external providers were engaged? Or the other one suggesting it wasn't a mistake and reeks of malevolence?

It happens across the media and seems to be a way to insert supposition into news articles. Just a pet hate of mine.

My pet hate is when TV news crews interview the neighbour who wants to get his/her head on screen, after something hideous has happened in their street. They always say β€˜nothing like this has ever happened around here before’.

There was one of them yesterday after a high quality and well-captured road rage fight outside a school in Melton.

Hoping this might be another of your pet hates.

Not a problem you will have in Frankston.

"Aww yeah shit I haven't seen violence like that around here since the primary school riot kicked off last Tuesday . Except maybe the bikie gang war and that guy who stabbed fifteen people in the queue at centreline for cutting in line"

Or the newspaper reports into some person who has died after crashing a stolen car while high on meth. They get all their comments on what a great person he/she was from Facebook or similar.

Knocked back a new gig - they wanted 3 days in the office - no thanks
5 days at home suits me nicely in current gig
When I accepted this job I negotiated a 4 day week and minimum 2 of those from home.
The office is 15 minutes away. I can get in the car at 8:40 and be at my desk before 9am.

And every victim of a natural disaster is an honest Aussie battler. Wonder if news crews walk down the flooded streets checking out houses, "Nah, they have a merc in the car port. That'll look sh-t. What about that sad-looking prick over there?"

One of my sisters lives 5 mins walk from her office - still works from home - some annoying legal twat coughs and sniffs all day at his desk - plus she's pretty intolerant anyway πŸ˜‚
