More comfortable than normal thongs?

No riding rubber plug between your toes.

Just like walking on pillows. I put a caveat on mine though, strictly around the house and in the garden. Never to go beyond the letterbox or the curb when taking out/bringing in the bins.

I've worn them to a mate's house but I still have a few f*cks to give therefore not wearing them out where the general public is... yet.

Not sure if I'm in awe or disturbed by someone seeking footwear more relaxed than thongs.

Although I do like the idea of changing into thongs in order to be able to go out in public.

Socks and Crocs are a vibe. Like surf and turf and suck and... you get the drift. Definitely not getting any of that wearing these in any case.

Thongs? Crocs? Surely as Collingwood supporters we all wear moccasins? I do, and am proud to (but never in public🙃).
You're an inspiration. I'm going to buy a pair. But in the tropics I'll have to really crank the ac to live the Collingwood dream.

Went into the office today, feet very unhappy wearing socks and shoes. for most of 2 years working from home it's been bare feet with slippers or ugg boots when it's really cold.

So quiet, seems like people are not used to having others around them while they're working, no chit chat, conversations are in hushed or whispered tones, a phone call is taken off to a private space. The psyche of offices has changed.

The hushed tones and whispering might have had something to do with the fact that you were wearing nothing but socks, shoes and a dressing gown.

I went back to regular office attendance a couple of weeks ago. It did feel strange, some conversations were strained, but things are back to whatever passes for normal now.

I would love some hushed tones and whispering in my world.

I had enough sense to leave the dressing gown at home and wore a business shirt.

I may or may not have neglected to wear pants and/or underwear.

You need to up your intimidation game. Nothing like an air of menace to silence a room.

Or otherwise go for headphones. These have made public transport travel so much more bearable.

It’s fair to say kids are struggling to get used ti being back at school.
Teachers have been back full time at ‘the office’ since last year.
It’s a struggle at the moment.

Knocked back a new gig - they wanted 3 days in the office - no thanks
5 days at home suits me nicely in current gig

It’s not that easy mate. Managing a class of 26 kids on your own is a challenge.
I remember - used to have 25 in senior secondary classes - wouldn't cope now
Had 40 when I taught overseas with Australian Volunteers - few moons ago now

Eldest daughter heading down to Geelong this morning for the Head of School Girls regatta. Four days of competition. Very early drop off. Here’s my pattern:
