It is a bit of a giveaway if everyone is back at the office and the boss says it's fine for you to still keep working from home.
Not everyone is back - she's free to choose - been there over 10 years - likes her own partic team - doesn't need to be in close proximity to sniffling legal twat

Spill the beans, what are these new found rules of yours that might have you competing with your wife.
Wordle is a sparse conversation tween wife and I - seem to be in front of son these days. Use same start word for a week - currently using various cooking terms - often helpful to do a very different word on line 2

When I accepted this job I negotiated a 4 day week and minimum 2 of those from home.
The office is 15 minutes away. I can get in the car at 8:40 and be at my desk before 9am.
My work tried to get me back for 3 days a week in the office and knocked back my initial request for 2 days in office.

Anyway, I cracked it totally (as they don't need me in there in person) and told them to shove it etc, got a call back 2 hours later that they agree to my request for 2 days.

What I have to fess up to and they know this, is that I'm known for long lunches on Fridays and not appearing back at the office. Been happening for many years and one of my days is Friday, so they actually know that this is really half a day - so it's actually 1 and a half days.

I'll do that for a while and they'll notice me coming in those 2 days and think what a good boy I am, then that other non Friday day will drop off bit by bit and by about June this year I'll be working half day Fridays only in the office.....hehe

Going to the footy tomorrow, yasssss!

I captured the sunrise last Saturday... across the road from home.

I hope you all get bored of Wordle. It's underwhelming.

Hugs, J

I survived the pandemic and its accompanying madnesses.

I maintained my bearings during the reality-bending years of Trump.

I'll stare down the excesses of Putin and the CCP.

But Wordle, it is Wordle which will tip me into existential oblivion, this tightly-walled cell of green and yellow cubes.

The Pandemic is NOT over

If you are getting the job done, location isn't too important. Unless your absence means juniors are missing out on learning from you and the office is missing your winning personality. Which we know isn't the case. Sounds like a win win.

Just don't get upset when they start making you hot desk like a transient hobo.

Two of the roo crew, Max and Rex looking happy in the bushes.

We now have three of our mature female roos pregnant, so I'm going to be a roo Granddad 3 times over. I'm feeling old.

Firstly, sunrise is too late right now. Daylight savings needs to finish earlier in the year.

Secondly, there is one poster singularly responsible for the Wordle infestation. Blame them.

"What's that Skip? You want to have sex with me again? Aw, ok."

If you were older, you may have liked Skippy, when it was Clancy who was the real star.

Yes well that was exactly their reasoning. Ha!

I saw through that in a flash.......

Even funnier when considering your avatar. Such a gregarious chap…

Noice work.

I pulled the pin yesterday around 3:30, told the boss I was going home. Back on email sans shoes and socks 15 minutes later. Today isn't one of my days in the office but I went in first thing to do a disciplinary interview. That was quicker than scheduled so, since there was no one else there in my area, I left and came home.
Spent the afternoon typing the interview transcript from the audio recording in 5 second bites. Geezes people can spit out a lot of words in 5 seconds and when English is their second language, the number of times I had to rewind the recording 3-6 seconds and replay it to understand what was said was flipping ridiculous
