The game high 734 metres gained, 27 possession stats are almost a given but loving that 10 possies were contested, 6 intercepts and won 2 clearances also.

Seems to have added a more contested part to his game too. A few clumsy handling errors this season but I reckon it’s because he’s getting his hands dirtier.

Has overtaken Daniel as far as our most important defensive player goes IMO. When he’s on, it’s a massive factor in our form.

I thought the same, and when he missed that easy goal i thought that was it for him. I'm happy for him to get a extended chance but he just doesn't get near it. I don't know what has happened to him but we cant play him forward if he doesnt apply pressure.

I'd like him to play the defensive wing in place of Roarke Smith.

Unfortunately for Mitch he just isn't athletically gifted enough to patrol a wing. He would be exposed too often as he doesn't have the closing speed.
