You're a serial complainer about this. Joe gave us some great years, almost won a couple of finals off his own boot. We f’ed up just as much as he did, but some people are blinkered about that.

We did not really **** his rehab. He did not tell the club exactly how bad it was. He should have been left out before he was but he was actually thinking he was doing the right thing by telling the coach he was good to play and he would work through it. The part that really shits me is we fixed him yet there is the false conception Brisbane's super medical team got him right despite Fagan actually mentioning he turned up for pre season in good nick and ready to go.
Obviously the weather up there suites as well. I know from my time on the Sunshine Coast a lot of the old footy injuries eased off a bit.

I have moved on. I would have traded him to Sydney. I did not boo him two weeks ago but it is still a bit depressing watching him kick 40 to 50 goals while we have Jones injured and limited KPF options.

Yep, people around me were losing their minds when we played them/him. Booing him only made him want to hurt us even more. Same thing with Carey. He lapped it up.

Actually Joe did admit he thought he was doing the right thing by playing through the injury. The medical staff did not actually have the true extent of how bad the injury was.

We really should have pushed harder for Stengle. I know he was always most likely to go to Geelong because of his close ties to Betts but we all know money talks. Imagine him and and a fit Tippa in the forwardline. Damn.
