I want to see us keep throwing Kosi out there to stand with Mitch and Gunner. That combo will pay off eventually, Kosi just needs more game time/continuity.

The last 2 weeks we have been too undersized moving forward with Just Jack and Mitch. Unless we were getting fast breaks from defence we really struggled with the long bomb into 50 with really only Lewis a marking threat. Kozi up forward in the first quarter kept competing In marking contests and kept bringing the ball to ground instead of Henry / Stewart controlling the air. That’s why our small forwards went to town in the first quarter. Was a shame that Reeves went off and Kozi had to shift into the ruck.

Hope Lynch is right to go for next week and Kozi can start in the F50 again. We look so much more dangerous with the 3 talls up forward

I know it has likely been discussed here but who is your ruckman likely to be this week?

Sidenote, I watched you guys play today. I am not ready for Hawthorn to be good again.

If Max Lynch is fit, he would be the first ruck. Conor Nash has been the second ruck for the last few weeks, but he is more a ruck-rover.

Thanks.

I'll be honest and say I know nothing about Max Lynch to the point where when Hawthorn supporters mentioned "Lynch" I thought "perhaps that is where Adelaide's Tom Lynch went"

I have heard of Nash though he hasn't left a big impression.

Lads, we starting a go fund me or what? :kissingheart:

"He's had a wretched run, poor old Maxy. He had his concussion and then he was a COVID case and all that type of stuff. Yesterday he got stung by a bee and had an anaphylactic situation, so he was unavailable even today."

Hope Lynch is good to go vs the Swans. Would make a huge difference. He's the only obvious IN i can see at this early stage. Depends on who is available. Hard to omit players after such a huge team effort.

The impression that Nash leaves is on the bodies of the recipient of his tackles.

How long will Reeves be out for?

Jeez if Lynch isn't available you'd hope Kosi learns how to ruck this week
Sam says that Reeves shoulder could settle down quick. they'll do scans and see how it goes.

Day will play. I daresay Chad will too.

CHANGES:
Lynch for Reeves, depends how Reeves pulls up, maybe a week off? (Sam said it could settle quickly, assess.)
Day for Shiels (thought he was pretty good and composed but someone has to come out)
Wingard for Phillips (pretty much a no brainer, not bad but gotta bring in the premium.)

Bramble would be a chance this week or next aswell, wonder who comes out?

I got a kid who got an anaphylaxis a number of times before and was also hospitalised every time she got an anaphylaxis.

I am not a doctor but Based on my daughter’s history, she is always good to go a day or two after she got an anaphylaxis.

I assume Maxy should be good to play against Sydney next week.
