The only reason I'm watching this is because it's a Thursday night and I've got absolutely nothing else to do.

How are people still getting worked up about selection? It's pretty clear we're in that holding pattern just treading water until we sack our coach, everything between now and then is just a waste of time so who really cares.

All the more reason not to be dropping young players who are the future of the side.

I don't care that Hayes (and Georgiades, Duursma, Bergman) have been dropped because it makes us worse this week, I care because we're wasting games on the likes of Motlop and Dumont that we should be getting into them.

This year is - and in hindsight was always going to be - a waste of time. It's a gap year without finals, development or good draft picks. Just accept it and look forward to the sacking.

If we end up getting a bunch of games in to Rozee and Houston in the midfield, Hayes in ruck, and guys like Sinn and Jones, then I think we can take a lot out of it as a rebuilding year.

everytime we play richmond i think about jake neade bumping dustin martin off the ball in the 2014 final, then i remember we are still working hardery to get there while richmond have climbed the ladder 3 times, come down again, started up the ladder again and are already further up the ladder than we are!!!! But its all ok because Hinkley's not the problem, as he would put it "íts the nature of the business"

This would be easier to accept if we hadn't just had one of them three years ago in 2019.

Port to win and Ken to be smug as **** about dropping Hayes only for it to backfire for the rest of the year while Ken continues to chase the dragon of winning with no ruck.
