The only reason I'm watching this is because it's a Thursday night and I've got absolutely nothing else to do.

Correct, a well coached team can overcome a lack of talent and suitable players. This is winnable
As much as you can afford to lose.
All the more reason not to be dropping young players who are the future of the side. How are people still getting worked up about selection? It's pretty clear we're in that holding pattern just treading water until we sack our coach, everything between now and then is just a waste of time so who really cares.
Legitimately annoyed that Tom Lynch isn't playing. He could have pushed this from being a routine 5 goal loss to a 10 goal drubbing.

I don't care that Hayes (and Georgiades, Duursma, Bergman) have been dropped because it makes us worse this week, I care because we're wasting games on the likes of Motlop and Dumont that we should be getting into them.
Imagine all the lettuce you could afford if that gets up.
If we end up getting a bunch of games in to Rozee and Houston in the midfield, Hayes in ruck, and guys like Sinn and Jones, then I think we can take a lot out of it as a rebuilding year. This year is - and in hindsight was always going to be - a waste of time. It's a gap year without finals, development or good draft picks. Just accept it and look forward to the sacking.

This would be easier to accept if we hadn't just had one of them three years ago in 2019.This year is - and in hindsight was always going to be - a waste of time. It's a gap year without finals, development or good draft picks. Just accept it and look forward to the sacking.
