Awful lot of throws pretending to be handballs in this game.
Yeah, to their credit they look stronger than last year. Their older players have stayed good and their younger players have improved. Similar to us, really.
I just wonder how long Selwood, Dangerfield, Duncan, Hawkins etc. can play for or if a couple of them go out together.
All of my in laws are Geelong and no shit I've been waiting about 8 years for them to be bad and the one year they missed finals, they picked up Danger
I don’t rate Geelong and I think they will lose in the first few weeks of finals.

still seems a bit high for them but theyre trending in the right direction
I much prefer the outcome that happened. Top four should be the ambition now. Freo losing (especially a home game) is best for Collingwood. Ditto Brisbane. Geelong and Melbourne less so, best to keep them top two so if we make fourth we don’t have to travel.

It's a very desperate coping mechanism. They went from a legit top 4 contender to languishing down the bottom part of the 8 (currently 7th) and they're unable to string any consecutive victories.Carlton board calling us pretenders. Not sure what that makes them then
The only thing doing them any favours is that the teams directly behind them in Richmond, WB and St Kilda are also inconsistent pretenders.
Geelong looking scary, my bet is them for the flag this year which pains me to say.
