Remember when he was being talked up as "future Prime Minister" level?

Now he's just a squeaky boundary rider who doesn't seem to know much of anything at all.
That was Russell Ebert's call after plenty of those long drives out to the communities with Shaun - and others - visiting a few bakeries along the way.

This occurred to me.
Knowing how arrogant this admin is, do you think they will just say nothing because he is contracted and slip into next year, meanwhile behind closed doors ken has been given an extra 2 years on top of 2023. They wouldn't announce it publicly because of the backlash.
So when Port probably make finals next year they announce his extension.

Na he’s gone. We just need to wait until mathematically finals aren’t possible before he goes.

Question is, will be be sacked or “walk away on his own terms”.

They'll engineer a feel good story that shows everyone in the best possible light because that's what this administration is about.

I don't know about the extra 2 year extension but yeah I can imagine the rest happening with the inclusion of deflection strategies such as aflw.

It will be two weeks into our off season after round 23 and we'll be wondering about the silence until cRowie snags a short interview with Koch for us to hear the typical Kochsucker subtly confirm the status quo.

I hope I am very wrong but I got the awful feeling that the club is going for broke for just one more year.

Fingers crossed that the new directors reflect on our historical standards and do the right thing.

He is an absolute non event as a boundary rider and that squeaky voice definitely doesn't help, it won't surprise me greatly if he doesn't retain the role after this season.

Forced Diversity is a big thing these days. That cat looking woman who played a season with Crows Womens team offers very little but has been a Ch 7 boundary rider for quite a few years now.

I posted the link to a recent John Cahill podcast in the accountability thread. Most of the things we don’t have currently were part of the Port fabric in his time. Took all the blame for losing ’76 because he thought he was too much of a nice guy. Went with “gut feel” from then on and never lost a GF. It was interesting listening to his three non negotiables and how they don’t seem to apply to our club.

What were the 3 non-negotiables?

Was going to disagree with this one, but I generally agree with your posts.

Not a chance. Even BigDavy LittleKoch probably isn't that blind, arrogant or stupid

Hope you are right.

So do I, of course.

Despite the disdain with which us Old School/Hardcore/Lifelong/Diehard/Death before dishonour etc types* are viewed, it would be tantamount to deliberate self destruction.

BigDavy LittleKoch might be an arrogant, out of touch, condescending invertebrate, but even he would comprehend that it would stain his 'great legacy as the supreme leader of the Port Adelaide Football Club' to do anything but

SACK KERNEL FINKLEY:poo:

* I have used the term True Believer in multiple previous posts, not being aware that the term is used by at least some of the happy clapper brigade.
To me True Believer is a term that applied to just about every aspect of my love and support for PAFC. Being that I always believed any bad times, lack of success were short lived and abhorred by all and sundry involved with The Great Port Adelaide Football Club prior to the infestation

What were the 3 non-negotiables?
Ran into David Arnfield a year back and asked him about Jack's ethos. He said it was "low and strong".
