Dagless, Stuxnet, Dspeed, TGBB, Wizard, and NDG have possibly never used Fleaflicker.
NDG and TGBB joined the Alpha FF league, I'm guessing to check it out. Would like to hear their feedback.

The rest of the league -- pb, lenny, balmain, gg, drd, manureid have used FF and have all said they are happy to go there (or stay) depending on the rest of the others.

So waiting to hear what the other six say. Would be good if they did join it so they can at least assess some things.

Keep in mind some stuff you wont see now -- draft done on site, wider array of commish options (but i can make everyone commish if we swtich there), league opens february not july, taxi squad options....but you can see more daily news grabs for players, a far bigger player pool (all the drafted players, udfas, free agents), no locking owners out from making roster moves, etc.

Those other ESPN leagues Dspeed in, with other mates, they all can be converted to Fleaflicker simply too if him and his mates want to bring them all to one site. ESPN is so behind now. Every year new fantasy sites emerge pushing the envelope. Fleaflicker is just one of many now. But i do really like it for a free site it is so much more expansive than ESPN.

I was a bit ESPN centric having used it for so long, got used to it, but once you are used to the FF site it is pretty good. I dont use it on mobile really, so not sure what that is like compared to ESPN though.

Like I said, either way for me, still have one other league on ESPN, so 2 and 2, so am always going to both anyway

The mobile app is better than the espn app. Everything espn, even the app, is restrictive and frustrating.
But on a mobile phone i just use FF via the web browser, which form fits to mobile view. So have it bookmarked.

I just joined one night when it was brought up here, haven’t had a chance to look at it. Happy to go with the majority

Cool, well we ought to make a choice as the season is a week or two away.

Have seven people so far saying happy to switch if others want to, but also fine to stay. And one person saying prefer to stay.

Still waiting to hear from wizard, stuxnet, dagless and ndg.

If we go with FF the league has been ready for over a week, people ready to start making cuts and waiver claims thruout preseason. A post-draft waivers only period is another option espn doesnt have. And FF reopens Feb. So the league can be more active on FF than Espn.

lol you’re running a boat race GG
I'd like FF to be the answer because it's honestly superior. Far easier to manage for commish and owners, more features, and year round activity.

But the collective makes the decision not me.

Others have said they like the site too, because they played it for a few years, so I'm not spruiking something others don't know about, dragging them there. Seven have said "I'm ok to switch if others do too."

I am not against you for preferring ESPN, but why not join, check it out so you can assess, and maybe in the future you and your mates will also decide to switch your other espn leagues to FF too!

My eyes still hurt compared to ESPN's pretty site, but I guess if its better in every other regard then fine.
You get used to the layout. I was a bit meh in the beginning but have got used to it now

Sometimes simplicity is better in terms of site construction, functionality, menus. Dark mode is definitely a must for FF. Theres like a little settings gear top far right and you can choose light or dark mode there.

Can we have a set date as to when waivers starts and when @gg cuts players?
The cut deadline is Sept 4th 11pm. I posted a FAQ on the front page there. After 11pm is when I'll make the cuts if owners havent.

As for Waivers...ive got it saying soon as everyone joins. Have only LennyHayes77 and dspeed left to join, but with the start of the season fast approaching, the same sept 4 would be a good date for that too.

I will update the faq to say Waivers start sept 4.

This season we'll operate it like we always did, people waiting till that last four days before week 1. And next year, with everyone aware how the site works, we can open waivers soon as draft ends given FF allows for the option to have waivers thruout oreseason but espn never did

Or we can keep the waiver rules as we always have - I actually like that about alpha compared to the other leagues in preseason as it actually creates value in the waiver order early season.
