Yea I'm similar. Not sure what this really accomplishes. Would have to think Marshall will be traded soon on the back of it however.

I also hope Shi Smith is our starting slot receiver, he deserves to be after the preseason he's had.

Have seen some takes saying we'll use him as a RB, but I just don't see that happening. Frustrated for Marshall, honestly, hasn't really had a good go at it.

Panthers released S Juston Burris.​

Other notable cuts from the Panthers include defensive end Darryl Johnson and wide receiver Keith Kirkwood. Burris appeared in 10 games for Carolina last year, eight of which were starts. In 2020, Burris played on 92 percent of the Panthers' defensive snaps during his 13 active games. His experience and ability to play special teams should land him a gig once rosters are settled.

Cutting Burris makes me happy, ****ing useless, only lasted as long as he did coz hes one of Rhule's guys.

Cutting Kenny Robinson made me sad, we need FS depth and I want a sniper back deep willing to strike some fear into the opposition and give out some unsportsmanlike hits.

**** that Corral trade looks horrible now just quietly also. Would have been better off paying Baker all the money and making that trade instead during the draft to keep the 2023 3rd.

Baker saying that lady is a liar, either way, she's just ****ed herself for future interviews/discussions with players, they wont give her anything now they know she's a liar for clicks or off the record is actually on the record .

This where we part ways, you accomplish nothing finishing 5 or 6 wins, all you do is stop yourself from getting better and become a cycle of mediocrity

100% agree with this statement. This was brought up on a podcast about the Seahawks potentially being linked to Baker. The hosts pretty much said well why would you bring Baker in? All that does is give you your 6-8 wins at Seattle and you finish in the middle of no man’s land. Stick with Geno/Lock for the season and you pretty much will be up to your eyeballs in the conversation for Young/Stroud and can re build with a talented QB on a cap friendly deal. You tank without tanking was pretty much what they were saying by staying clear of Baker

Mayfield is underrated imo. He showed rookie year (breaking mannings record) and 2020 playoff season, he can be a top tier QB. The Browns dysfunction probably messed with him, and maybe he needed a little humbling, that his new era in Carolina pushes him back to the top tier for the long haul.

I think Panthers are a seriously sneaky chance to make the playoffs. The NFC has some question marks on a few of the more superior teams of years gone by. I won’t be surprised if they nab a wild card spot

And the South is a bit more open. Botox Brady maybe lost the plot, Saints new era, Falcons rebuilding.
