I read that as more a sarcastic comment, maybe im wrong though.
I feel that'd be giving Collingwood fans too much credit. Though it's early and I feel kind of delusional from the flu, so currently not the best judge of these things

Gonna go on the record and say even if we debut him and it’s a disaster I like that we are taking a risk with a kid. Anyone who has seen him play will know he is a far different beast to someone like Jack Watts. Also think Goody is way too conservative with selection (For the same reason I’d welcome Joel Smith playing).

Yea, completely different situation to Watts. He was the great hope on a terrible football team when he wasn't ready. JVR has been dominating VFL backs and we are a far better side than what we were in 2009.

I dont think anyone is expecting miracles. (apart from me, I think he kicks 6 goals minimum)

It'll be good to get one game out of JVR before we package him with a first-rounder (and perhaps more) for an injured 28-year-old ruckman o_Oo_Oo_O

I’m a sucker for the trade bell on YouTube.

Grundy for Melbourne’s 1st and 2nd round picks + Jacob Van Rooyen - TAKE IT TO THE BANK.

I guess we now know who texted in.

Lmao. I'm fine with the Grundy idea, but wouldn't take him in a straight swap for JVR, let alone send draft capital back their way.

I’d be staggered if we pay more for Grundy than we did for Brown (2 picks around 30-40?) unless they pay a huge amount of his salary. They’re making big changes this trade period and a ruck on a million for the next 5 years when Cameron has had a breakout year is completely prohibitive. You don’t usually get much for expensive crocks on five year deals, even those who are/were as good as Grundy. Will be some all time melts on the Pies board when this one goes through.

Trelol trade was:

Bulldogs out: Pick 14 and future second-rounder
Bulldogs in: Treloar, Pick 16, Pick 33 and Pick 42

Essentially valued Treloar as a future second rounder in a salary cap dump of a very similar nature. Don't expect the deal to be too much more than that

I might have to go over and see my friends on the Collingwood board again and tell them they are going to be disappointed.
Ask them if adding Petracca to their proposed deals will help get Grundy over the line.

It's against Bigfooty rules to post screenshots identifying posters FYI.

I doubt anyone knows Grundy's trade value unless they know how much of his contract is subsidised by Collingwood.
Anyware from Treloar/B Brown to Brad Hill (Freo to StKilda) is possible.
somebody is going to dob on you Scythe94
Proper Gander Dory_77 if that's the case you probably should've suspended me at least 50-60 times so far as a result of my contributions to The Loony Bin.
