It does highlight the problem with just throwing more and more draft picks at a club expecting it to turn around. Suns had so many picks they didn't want to use they were just giving them away.

At least the Roos used theirs to bring in some ready made players, not just to add more speculative players on top of speculative players.

Yeah that should be a stipulation.

How sad would sooky boy Bruhn be if GWS sent him to the PSD and re-drafted him
Absolutely!

A slight side note since joining the forums I note that sook sooky and sooky boy are used more prevalently than I would have imagined.

Just another example of the rubbery rules we have in this comp. Rules of the game are rubbery, player movement rules are rubbery. Joke.
Getting AFL guy Twomey alone to tweet that is manipulating an outcome.

I think the league has learnt from that hence the Roos had a watered down version.

The concern is though the majority of those trades - even just pick swaps - went to Geelong and didn’t appear open to other clubs who may well have been willing to offer better deals.
Would love to see the league answer questions - or GC answer questions - on why that is

it is a part of the Ablett Jnr compensation from their start up

Geelong must need a hand to land Bowes and Henry

This is obviously for Geelong to get everything they want.

**** the AFL if they change the rules AGAIN to fit Geelong's needs, and simultaneously approve the most objectively lopsided trade in history with 7 and Bowes for peanuts.
