I think the tiger faithful are really excited about 2023, might be 90,000+
Man how surreal would it be for the both of them to go from a 10,000 person home crowd (if they’re lucky) to a 90,000 person home crowd? When was the last time they played on front of a crowd that big…the 2019 grand final maybe?

Because often they were s**t the week before playing us as well, so they get a week of media bashing in the lead-up to the game…also as Tiger_Of_Old said…their shithole of a stadium, can’t remember the last time we played them at the MCG.
2021 and we kicked 2 goals lmao

There were comments over the last few days on Fox Footy why the rich get richer.

it's because they are run so well on and off the field. Clubs poorly run have limited to no interested from big name players wanting to join them.

Having your s**t in order on and off the field, a unified club, going in the same direction without fractions, goes a long way to sustained success. Richmond, Geelong, Melbourne, Sydney strong examples of that.

Simple really.....
1000 times this.

How the **** can a club appoint someone like Simon Lethlean as CEO and then wonder why it all goes to shit. He is the total opposite of Benny in terms of integrity and vision.

Same with Essendon and their absolute disaster with church guy.

These clubs are a mess off field. It took the AFL sorting out dees off field problems to start getting anywhere (even then you have to question if they truly learnt the lessons) and it took us probably 12 years of stability and getting our house in order before 2017 happened. And we had plenty of 1 step backwards for 2 steps forward in that period.

Instead it feels like the afl step in and allow this shoddy decision making and short term fixes with zero consequences because you’ll get a cash hand out or draft picks the next chance you get.

If you’re Ben King right now and considering your playing career at GC what are you thinking, what’s your management advising? GC have the in built advantage of being his club but if he decides to come home Saint Kilda should have the inside lane but us or the cats would get to pitch to him, and you’d have to like our chances in that situation.

This isn’t unique to AFL either, strong well run sports clubs in every league always get these opportunities. There’s a reason KD choose the warriors or Butler choose the heat or Haaland chose Man City etc…

You've blocked it out of your memory! Last year and we kicked 2 goals for the whole match!! I feel dirty bringing it up :(
