CoolI took my little out trick or treating the last two years, given the lengths I've seen people and even full streets go to, I very much beg to differ with this statement.
Drove to one street (Orange Street in Bentleigh East) this year, the surrounding streets were log jammed with cars trying to get through, the street itself had hundereds and hundreds of people walking through it. Go there next year and tell me "It's not celebrated here"!

Can't come soon enough. This jumper is a bit tight on my shoulders.Voting closes 20 November, so you'd think the week after
I still see people wearing the Power Ranger which is an awesome middle finger to other supporters.
I really hope Blue Diamond gets up!Face it, its a two jumper race and the blue diamond is basically a merger jumper, apart from ot being horrendous and only appealing in its trump like f you quality.
big hawk is a fine design in its own right and part of the Ian dicker resurrection. It’s not a contest. if you voted blue diamon have a good look at yourseldf if you are in fact a hawks fan and not an opposition fan taking the pee
You all should be forced to wear it. Adelaide or Melbourne hawk colours
Lack of love for this thing of beauty is really sad.
REALLY? You think it's actually OK for kids to wander around begging for sugar? f**king disgraceful festival. Nothing to do with boomerism, it is beyond insanity that this particular temporary cult developed.I had about a dozen groups of kids trick or treat our place this year - so clearly they didn’t get the memo. Nor did the multiple Halloween house parties I went to in my younger days. Much like hot cross buns appearing in December, Halloween is just something the angrier boomers and Xers love to yell at the cloud about while the rest of us have fun and enjoy hot cross buns on Boxing Day.

I simply get the trick part out of the way by applying 40,000 volts through the doorbell.
So you're yelling about kids eating sugar but endorsing electrocuting them? Interesting take.
And it has everything to do with boomerism. The only people I ever complaining about nonsensical non-issues like Halloween, hot cross bun sale dates etc are boomers or maybe the later cohort of Gen X. It's older people who clearly have enough comfort in their lives that they spend their free time getting angry at other people having some fun. I mean if you're content with your worldly priorities that kids putting on some costumes and getting some lollies is enough to rankle you - power to you. I have actual things to worry about.
And current buns year round, what’s not to like?
Came in here wanting a big hawk jumper…
Left wanting hot cross buns
This has to be regulated cause I love those ****ing thingshot cross bun sale dates etc
I wish I had of taken video of the Beaumaris concourse. It was like Chadstone 3 days out from Christmas with kids and parents dressed up and trick or treating.I took my little out trick or treating the last two years, given the lengths I've seen people and even full streets go to, I very much beg to differ with this statement.
