Here's my thought process:its a very loose connection.
Nonetheless, I'm not sure why being skinny is a criticism? It just means more upside later on.
I guess a lot it depends on whether people think people we're in our premiership window or not. We came 5th last year and didn't improve our forward line in the off season. If people think Grundy and a healthy TMac is the difference maker then I can understand why they would want someone ready made.
But I don't subscribe to this and I like the long term benefits that this gives us. Next year we'll have 2 first rounders, Nathan Brown's son who looks like a 2nd rounder, as well as Jefferson with an extra 7 or 8kg to his frame. Throw into the mix Noah Yze and Jeff Whites son (who could be a top 3 pick in his draft) in a few years time and we could be looking at sustained success and more importantly not bottoming out for a decade which we've done in the past.
1. You were bemoaning the lack of photos of draftees
2. Jefferson is a skinny kid (as talented and full of upside/potential as he may be)
3. There's a very skinny pole in a photo from training
4. ...
5. Comedy gold
No serious commentary about whether Jefferson was the right pick or not was intended.
