Scored a 100 and averaged 40 last time we toured India. He's an excellent player of spin and that's not something we have a lot of.T20 player that shouldn’t be anywhere near the test set up but finds himself playing test
Agar they want in because he he is a Left arm orthodox spinner and most of India's Batsmen are Right handers. Lyon has a better strike rate against Left handed batsmen. Agar can also Bat.Scored a 100 and averaged 40 last time we toured India. He's an excellent player of spin and that's not something we have a lot of.
I worry for Australia. They drew against SL in SL and Quite frankly India infinitely better side that SL. Everything has just about have to go right for Aus to be a sniff
Basically we've got arguably the most complete Australian side in probably 15 years and India are on the down. By no means is it close to a given, but if it's gonna happen it could well be now. It’s a weaker India side than last time we played them at least. Kohli and Pujara past their best, Pant is a huge out, Bumrah also looking unlikely to be fit. Can see Marnus having a big tour over there to cement himself as a generational batter and Smith will be desperate to score runs in probably his last tour over there. But definitely a huge challenge
CA have picked 4 spinners in the touring squad to go with said part-time options. You'd hope by the end of the series they'll have worked that one out.The only genuine gap in the Australian lineup is the absence of a genuine second front line spinner. The upside is we have three genuine part time options who have been proven to take wickets, which does help.
Inglis not being selected at least means he should be available for the BBL.CA have picked 4 spinners in the touring squad to go with said part-time options. You'd hope by the end of the series they'll have worked that one out.
Pete Handscomb is the new hotness.I'm not a fan of Harris but they have him in the squad all summer and then don't pick him for India.
Ussie is the only one I'd be worried about. So, from last match the Heat get back Labuschagne, Khawaja, and Renshaw, and Scorchies get... Agar.
I didn't even know Ussie had switched over from the Chunder.

I think those ins could backfire for the heatSo, from last match the Heat get back Labuschagne, Khawaja, and Renshaw, and Scorchies get... Agar.

Renshaw has been terrible, not sure Labs is a good T20 player but Ussie is a huge inclusion.
Winning tonight is non negotiable.A tough stretch for the Scorchers with the next 3 games away.
Have to win at least one but two would be nice.
Will tell us where we're at I think.
We've had one game without Richo and got pumped by the Brisbane openers for 80 odd.Winning tonight is non negotiable.
I think we need another opener badly. We need a batsmen and one thats a finisher. Think Strikers will come home with a wet sail now they got Head and Carey back.
Tho all Test players will be going to India when the finals are on. So we lose Agar and morris too
Too early to make thr eskinazi call tbh.I think we need another opener badly.
If Richo comes back, think we can cover Morris and Agar.
Head and Carely will be irreplaceable for the Strikers.
Pinch a no result in a rain affected test, lose the series 3-0, beat India at The Oval in the Test Championship final.I worry for Australia. They drew against SL in SL and Quite frankly India infinitely better side that SL. Everything has just about have to go right for Aus to be a sniff
Eskinazi not getting a game early when Lyth and Hobson struggled worries me.Too early to make thr eskinazi call tbh.
More worried that we lose Morris for shield. He isn’t needed in India and like Inglis should probably need some games under his belt
