He’s fit as f*** atm. Not in many 22’s I’ve seen here, but from what I’m hearing he will play. Need to remember he was playing injured last year. Just hope it’s balanced with Phillips & Powell also getting games (on merit).

Not so much about best 22... needs to be at least 30 that can interchange without much detriment to the overall quality of the team... will always be injuries, suspensions and form but if we are getting to that point where it's hard to fit everyone is only a good place to be...

I reckon he should be played up forward, a lot more. He's a better option for a mid/fwd split, than LDU. Especially at this stage of his career. I'd even start him there, at times. Could be a tricky matchup.

Up fwd equally as tough as mid hopefully... Curtis, Taylor, chom, bull , souva sheez stepho jmah, cj spicer...

Not much has been said about Greenwood. Wonder how or if he fits into our best 22?
Probably in the scoobs to start with. Cunnington has a spell then I can see him coming in. The midfield is filled with talented and high IQ players. I don’t have him in with an injury free midfield.

Forward line plausible if one of Larkey, Comben, CCJ are no good. Mid sized forwards we have a plethora that are capable.

Can’t see him picked round 1 on the current injury list.

For me Larkey , Comben and Zurhaar are a lock and the other 3 spots up for grabs.. Starting with Curtis, Sheez and Stevo with Taylor on the bench..

You can see that Jacobs has put on some size from that pic next to X. I remember seeing a similar photo a year ago & it was very different. Good boy.
Yeah 100% I noticed that as well. Xerri also looking super fit; will get to every contest, just hope he can clunk some marks really the one thing he needs to take his game to the next level.
Re Edwards, the ability to play more as a forward + some added size should do wonders, all he has to do is show signs, truly did not belong on the VFL field last year so only up from there!

Managed to swing by training on the way to a meeting today, not much to report as I was only there for about 15 minutes. The part of the match sim I did see Will Phillips was tearing it up in the centre square AND so was Tom Powell. Was very impressed with Phillips (he was also resting forward for a bit too) and very happy to see Powell running through the middle.
For those of you who attend training regularly, does there seem to be more people watching than normal at this time of year?

Don’t know if anyone has touched on this, but does anyone know if we have any NAB league kids training with us? Ive seen some other clubs have a similar thing happening right now, maybe some guys from Tassie or some kids who have other connections?
