The rehab group: Tucker, Howe, Spicer, Corr. Doing run-throughs.

Players in groups doing skills. Goater catches the eye - nice pace and skill.

Bergman doing 1on1 with Shiels. Quite a number of players not participating in drills. Lmac, LDU, PCurtis.

WiPhi and Sheez working together. Goldy and CCJ. Taylor and Eddie Mazda.

Drury still impressive. Every time I see him. Stevo working with Cunners.

Boomer coaching WiPhi. Awesome.

Everyone now into the centre of the ground, except for the rehabs. Stacks on Monky in the middle, for some reason.

Wardlaw with the main group. Great to see. I'll watch him closely. Has backed off from some of the contact stuff and has the hat on. But at least he's out there.

Back into groups again.Monky doing ruck drills with X, CCJ and Hamish Free. Not Goldy though.

Howe went past, is not injured, but is not participating fully, he says.

Goldy has joined the ruck training. All except the rucks and rehabs now back in the middle.

Dunno, but I feel like there’s way more “proper” match sim than previous years.

About fifty spectators here.

TT moving well. Looks fit. Kallan Dawson nice contested mark. Players ramping up the drills now, more contested.

Eddie Mazda beats BMac and marks it. Nice. My god Chom looks good when he goes for his marks. Has a jump on him. One of the most exciting things I've seen this pre-season is his marking.

Ball handling is very good all round in these moist conditions.

Bonar doing well defensively. They are in three groups, kicking to a contested situation

Chom again, contested. Unstoppable.

TT floats across the pack and marks. Perez nice moves. Chom marks again.

Sheez nice spoil. I'm impressed with Eddie Mazda today. Moving well.

That drill is over for now. Back to the centre in a group.

Kicking drills now, in smaller groups. Edwards has joined the rucks.

Logue back doing pure running, but his pace is noticeably up from last week.

WiPhi's kicking is elite. Seriously. Just hit a 30m pass across his body that had to be seen to be believed.

All back in the centre again.

Overcast here at Arden st, but dry for the moment. Watching LDU and Paul Curtis doing kick to kick on front of me. Light drizzle just started. Will be interesting to watch ball handling today

The mood is definitely upbeat here. Lots of positive talk.

Still overcast and cool here, but not raining. Perfect footy conditions. Light breeze blowing.

Now we have orange and green vests, plus no vests.

In two larger groups. Ratts coaching one, Clarko the other.

Lazz with the ambitious kick, turns it over. LMac also ambitious, but hits Cunners. It seems Miller Bergman is being called "Mill" by his teammates.

Very dark here. Tommy Powell nice gather and kick.

Now half field drills, on each wing. Stevo turns it over. Has been doing that a lot, sadly.

Drizzling now. Edwards nakes BMac earn it. Nobody got hurt. The umpires that were warming up before are now participating in these drills and whistling the play, telling them to move it on, etc. Real life sim.

TT intercepts athletically. Has been impressive today. Drizzle is heavier now.

Players having a longer break, talking with the coaches. Now switching to each goalsquare in two groups.

I like this. With the umpire here, it's simulating I50 entries.

Larkey nice lead, marks, BMac shoves him in the back. No 50. Disgraceful.

Greenwood slips over but hanballs while on the ground and hits BScott. Well done. Cunners playing defense in this one. Curious. Half back flank.

LMac nice intercept, hits Cunners. Bonar good mark contested. These drills are full on. Players not holding back.

Goldy, ageless, hits Larkey on the lead. Set shot. Goal. All back in the centre.

Good to see Josh Gibson coaching the backs. John Blakey is kicking to him and the backs are spoiling. He's taking some punishment.

Corey McKernan is here too, but not on the field.

Rain is heavier now, players heading off. I will go too. Disappointed no full match sim. Maybe next week?
