Haven't heard much about him over last couple of weeks.

Hard to tell as it wasn't a full match sim but I did notice that his voice was up during drills, giving advice to the younger guys.

Be very interesting to see what happens with that as it's a really bad habit of ours. I suspect we might see the odd one or two if a player is under pressure or panics. But will be great to get it out of our game completely.

There is a place for it, just not 45 times per game

Poor Lachie playing on Xerri and Comben (starting to really fill out)...

Curtis and Goater look really strong and the Sheez looks noticeably bigger.

It'll be great to have a fitter and stronger side this year.

About fifty spectators here.

TT moving well. Looks fit. Kallan Dawson nice contested mark. Players ramping up the drills now, more contested.

Eddie Mazda beats BMac and marks it. Nice. My god Chom looks good when he goes for his marks. Has a jump on him. One of the most exciting things I've seen this pre-season is his marking.

Ball handling is very good all round in these moist conditions.

Bonar doing well defensively. They are in three groups, kicking to a contested situation

Chom again, contested. Unstoppable.

TT floats across the pack and marks. Perez nice moves. Chom marks again.

Sheez nice spoil. I'm impressed with Eddie Mazda today. Moving well.

That drill is over for now. Back to the centre in a group.

10 minutes into the first game of the season you’ll have a chorus of imbeciles yelling ‘kick it long!’ into an oppo zone, only to have them transition for an easy shot on goal.
