Wait, so now both the unofficial simulation and official practice games are open to the public?
Perhaps the practice matches are free and the simulations are ticketed (hopefully free for members).

Only fair that we get Georgiades for nothing

Georgiades had ankle surgery in Dec. Just starting running again.

Looks like it will be a late start to the season? Not good not getting is a decent preseason training load.

The WAFL caper is unhelpful at best. Unprofessional.
It's not a professional league. It is run on a oily rag so costs have to be contained. How about the afl giving second tier comps more money. As said before Wafl clubs will have pre season games weeks before the Wafl season starts. Will The Beagles be playing pre season games in the wafl or will they be to scared to play Afl standard eagles in these games just in case they get injured

I think one of his real skills is his ability to read the ball of the pack and then opportunistically pounce to his advantage.

You can’t teach that.

I think he may surprise some.
But yes he will need time to develop, that said I was rapt that we were able to pick him up so late in the draft as I had thought he would have been gone by that point.

Players with footy smarts, are always value for money, regardless where they are picked in the draft.

I think he has great footy smarts and ability to read the play not only off of a pack but around the ground at spillage situations. I've only seen him in 4 games however from what I have seen he made himself either an option or was at the right place at the right time. Physicality and strength need to come on and he has seemed a touch fumbly under pressure. He was however particularly this year coming from a lower fitness base than others and it is almost universal that when players are a touch gassed they aren't as clean as normal.

Certainly worth the list spot and wish him all the best.

If only there was some huge, wealthy organisation in WA that would benefit from a strong WAFL that could help fund it.

West Coast through being owned by the WAFC give more than enough money. The problem is that such a huge amount of it doesn't make it's way to the WAFL, grassroots or junior football programs.

As someone who was so big on Rotham early in his career, I just think he is WAFL material now. Defensively he isn’t strong to go with the big forwards and the smalls are tad to agile and quick for him. In the air he isn’t as strong anymore. His redeeming features are his pace and footskills but he needs to show that he can actually take the game on.

First of all you can’t have a break out year when you’re an established player and club threw everything plus the kitchen sink to bring you over. That said Goss makes a point.

Feels like TK’s gone under the radar a bit this preseason and looks in terrific nick

I quite liked him up forward in Watermans role.

I know the Eagles weren't shy as usual, of asking for my membership cash ... 30 seconds after GF Siren went, but it used to be compensated that we once got our membership packs before Xmas. It's now February and no one has said anything about receiving it, or have I missed the Memo that we don't get one anymore?

Yeah; not sure what is happening with membership packs anymore.

Also, I'm 99% sure I submitted a seat change request (do it every year just to take a look at what is available), but haven't heard anything on that either.

You get a $25 discount at he eagles store. Which will buy you a cap. You should have recieved an email with that amazing offer.

I didn't think they'd had membership packs for about 3 years. It might have been opt out, but I get a voucher to use at the team store.

To be honest, the $25 is better value than the membership pack that sits in a drawer for a couple of years then gets chucked in a skip bin when we do a spring clean.

There's a free delivery code with that email and the option of getting a free pin/sticker/lanyard, so this year I got the $25 members hat for free and the pin (didn't want the sticker and lanyard as well) which arrived today.

So they've effectively made the old membership pack opt in with some extra hurdles to jump over to save money.
