Seen nothing written about Butts… should we be concerned?
He's a quiet achiever.

No news is probably good news as means no injuries.

Dunno if Crouch was ever as far away as some on here think.

I know Bickley said (and I reckon he got it from AFC) that they've only got room for one accumulator type but....

I think the only things Crouch was lacking was running, two way, defensive enough and ideally a bit more speed from him would be good. By looking at him, he's lost weight and doing better running, so that box is ticked.

Then the other thing was his kicking, but not the accuracy of it, or the decision making attached to it, purely the lack of it vs the amount of times he handballs when he gets the ball. I think the coaches would actually be happy to wear even more rushed, blind, less well directed kicks in a trade off for more kicking from him. Chucking it on the boot more often isn't the hardest thing in the world to correct. So he's should probably tick the other box as well.

Ball in your court coaches.

Yep, that would ok but it does set it up to be Tex’s last year when they both aren’t ready to call it, so I can see why they wouldn’t.

If EH can carry his form into the season, fitting in FOG, Tex, EH and RT will be difficult
And down back Murray and Butts look certainties.

If Crouch can rack up 35 disposals a game and hand pass EVERY SINGLE ONE to Dawson (or Rankine or Rachele) in space, I don’t have a problem with it.
Out of all the Mids, the is most likely to be the one to come close to spoon-feeding Rankine, Dawson Rachele, Millera, and Soligo on a regular basis, but only if he in top form, and it looking more like a 2017 Crouch than a 2022 Crouch

Has it been mentioned that Doedee said on an AFL fantasy podcast that Dawson will be playing midfield/up the ground?

Been a lot of bed wetting debate on Dawsons continued use as a def but this seems to have been missed…

Basically Dawson will be up the ground but may get used In Defense as a loose man or for support at times. Apparently training as a mid more

I’m an AFL fantasy /champion data context he said he would get mid status added to his current defender status

Also spoke about rankine as a mid. Said he will probably get put wherever he is needed at times to turn or take over a game . Included comments that suggested he could be more mid than forward

The other thing he said was about himself and the captaincy.

He expects there’s a good chance he will be captain* come round 1!

SEN always update their podcasts for each show in a seperate feed, rather than under the one SEN brand, so if you want a particular interview you gotta look for it on what show it was on (as others above posted)

They do separate the interview out though so easy to find and listen too

Josh spoke very well and there seems to be a very good vibe building with the squad

How do I find the podcast version?
