Hooked up small electronic device to its charging cradle last night... this morning device is as flat as a tack

Bit of swearing etc - wife says "would you like me to look at it?" - I reply - "ok but spare me the detail - just let me know if you've fixed it or not".

I go to gym - get text "all fixed xx". I ring - wife explains the fix - (was I dumb or not) - I say "thanks but please don't crow".

Wife - "I need to crow a bit" - anyway all sorted and she is quite good at that type of stuff - just bought a small edible treat as further thank you
